Dr. Martens Unisex-Adult Embury Leather Chelsea Boot

I had been wanting these for a very long time. They are actually pretty warm in this cold weather. The quality is excellent! I really love how they look with skinny jeans! I think since they are unisex, the fit is not exact, but I’m a size 6.5/7, purchased the size 7, and they are comfortable for me. I love how chic and stylish they are! I received compliments on them the first day I wore them to work. And I also bought my bf matching ones! Love love love!

These are amazing! I went to the mall, looking for a pair of boots. But, I couldn’t find anything. Eventually, I stopped at journeys. They had a pair of these on the wall. They were beautiful. But, naturally, they did not have my size. So, I jumped right on Amazon and ordered the pair in my size while I was walking around the mall. The quality looks amazing. The size is just right. And it feels good. This is my first pair of Doc Martens and I couldn’t be happier. I can tell you one thing, it won’t be my last pair. I’m thinking I’m going to get an identical pair of the brown. They are glorious

After extending my stay in Portland into the winter/rainy season, I needed decent boots to handle the muck. Found this “used” pair of taller Docs that would cost less and arrive sooner than having my old blunnies shipped from home. My gamble on getting perfect, new boots that’d been returned for being the wrong size totally paid off! Better yet, I wore them all day right outta the box — zero breaking in required.US women’s shoe sizes can vary but EU 41 is my true north. I bought these in a 9; loose on bare feet but just right with wool socks. Easy to pull on and off, not at all tight around the ankle. High quality leather (mud rinses right off), smooth seams and excellent craftsmanship throughout. In spite of the boots lacking an apparent arch, the Bounce soles comfortably support my problematic, 65 yr old feet, knees and hips.

I haven’t found any reviews here regarding these shoes being used for work. I work in a kitchen and needed a new pair of nonslip boots. My previous pair of Dr Martens (Winch NS) lasted me 4 years of casual wear but broke 2 years into wearing them daily in food service before completely breaking beyond repair.I was expecting a miserable break in period, but after one week the shoes are relatively comfortable. I work 12 hour shifts often and haven’t experienced any pain other than usual fatigue. The snug fit and material helps to keep water out of my boots, I haven’t had any issues with wet socks even after working long dishwashing shifts.I was hesitant on buying these due to the lack of reviews about the nonslip soles. These shoes are definitely nonslip. They hold up well on water and oil, i’ve experienced some skidding but the same can be said for my last pair of nonslip shoes.I’d recommend for the first few days to double up on socks or wear a pair of thick socks. On top of that, wear socks that go above the shoes to stop the top from rubbing against your bare skin.I’m unsure about the longevity of this style of shoe in the kitchen yet, if I experience any breaking faster than expected I will update my review here to let y’all know. My last pair with similar soles broke one and a half years after I started using them for work.UPDATE (10 months):The soles have split at the arch of the shoe. I believe this happened probably 8 months in. It doesn’t affect wearing them at all, but is worth noting. I had the same issue with my last pair of Docs, and I wouldn’t say this is uncommon.We had a day in the kitchen where there was flooding, and my boots were submerged in a little under 2 inches of water for 5 hours. My feet were completely soaked. I didn’t expect these to be fully waterproof, but I honestly wasn’t expecting that much water to enter the boots. They are somewhat easy to clean, but for food service I will probably go for a different material next time I have to purchase a pair.

Except for the fact that these are a full size off for women, these are super. I am a standard size 8, but my size in these boots was very long and sloppy on my foot. I had to send my first pair back and get a women’s size 7. Size 7s fit perfectly.The classic Dr. Martens footbed is fantastic. Instant comfort out of the box.You’ll need to break in the leather. The shaft is particularly stiff and needs at least a few hours of breaking in—as does the upper. Once you bend the leather around and break in the boots for a few hours, they feel great.Other than that, these are great looking, comfortable boots. I love how the brown leather begins to patina right away, giving them a “lived in” look fast. They look great with a variety of jeans/pants styles.Love these. One star off for the sizing issue.

I wear these every day. Super comfortable, can dress them up or down! Love the build quality as well. I can wear them all day long without any issues. I'd walk around any city all day long in them and I'd be in significantly better shape than any Nikes or adidas ever could.

Love these, but had issues with the fit. My size 7 was way, way to big. I tried a size down 6 and the the neck of the boot was crazy tight. Couldnt get my foot back out without help! Kept them and I used a streacher to make them easier to put on and take off. Once they are on they fit great. Go figure.
