No concordance
I was looking to replace my NASB from the 70's. However, it did not have a concordance which was important to me. Great cover, readable text, but I returned it and picked one with a concordance.

NASB in a Solid Binding
My wife has one of these from before we met. Loved it so much that I got my own. It's a shame that most Christian book stores don't carry more formally equivalent translations in good bindings like these. Got mine slightly used for super cheap - 2002 copy.As with all thinlines, the text is small and every effort has been made efficiently use the real estate of every page. Appropriately, there's not much of a margin. I take notes separately, so this isn't a problem for me. But if you're a margin-note person, you'll be disappointed.Zondervan provides two types of covers: bonded leather and Italian two-toned calfskin-style leather (not sure if it's genuine or simulated). I have the former and my wife, the latter. My only complaint is that the bonded leather is taking a while to break in. I don't read from this copy every day, but it's generally the Bible I have on me during the day, so it's opened frequently. The calfskin cover will stay open and flat on a table whereas my bonded leather copy is slowly gaining this ability - but only the areas to which it's frequently opened.Admittedly, the bonded leather look isn't very exciting. But in ten years, when a calfskin cover would be bent to decrepity from years of being thrown into a bag several times a day, my bonded leather copy will be stylin' and profile'n. Just not really - cause it looks kinda boring. I like the minimal aesthetic, so it fits me well. That's up to you.In all, I recommend this thinline. The font, the typeface, the use of page space, and the binding itself are great. I put four star simply because it could be improved. My favorite thinline, in this regard, is the Holman Christian Standard. Sorry, Zondervan. But Holman has one-up'd you. But only by a little. It is, at times, difficult to find a formally equivalent translation in thinline form, as the Holman is not. That said, serious students of Christian theology should get a thinline like this. Ditch that NIV and go with the translation that'll put hair on your chest.

NASB Thinline Bible, Large Print, Burgundy Leather
I just received my "NASB Thinline Bible, Large Print" today. I wanted to provide a "current update" for those interested in purchasing this Bible. As others have pointed out, this Bible is amazingly "thin." It measures 3/4" thick (9.6" tall, and 6.6" wide). Needless to say, the pages have to be very thin in order to squeeze-in over 1100 pages into such a thin package (actually 1100 divided by 2... front & back pages). You will need to choose your highlighters carefully, or you will have problems with "bleed-through." I might also point out that the cover is a "Bonded Leather" cover. As another reviewer pointed out, "Large Print" font does not mean "Giant Print" or "huge font." The font is nearly equivalent to Times New Roman 10 point. This is not huge... but it is not tiny. The average person should be able to read it just fine. I am not sure what "font style" they use, but I must admit that it is very easy to read, and it actually looks as though it is much larger than what it actually is.To give you some perspective of the font size, it is equivalent to Times New Roman 10 point (which is what I used for comparison purposes). Yet the text is so nice that at a glance, I thought the font was a 12 point font.It is a "Red Letter" edition (words of Christ in red), and the red text is not hard on the eyes, and both the black and red text are very easy to read.In addition to a limited concordance in the back, there are two small sections covering: "Promises from the Bible" (2 pages), and "Perspectives from the Bible" (3 pages), followed by a few maps. All in all, it is perfect for someone who simply wants "The Bible" for "study through reading" purposes without the additional commentary and notes. Let me also add that there is very little room for note-taking. This is mainly for someone such as myself, that has plenty of Study Bibles, but simply wants to "read the Word" without the distraction of other peoples commentary. For those who need the commentary and/or chain-references, there are countless Study Bibles on the market that will fulfill your need.I am very pleased with this Bible.Hope this helps!

No incluye ningún mapa.

2020 version that’s awesome
The media could not be loaded. TBH fan of NASB renderings. Though haven’t read fully, glad that before I could start on it as my only personal version knew about this latest 2020 edition. Literal. My advise to you is have always either an ESV or NKJV too to compare and study.Niv not my cup. But for new believers it can help the way a little easier. However some words in that convey totally different thought than originally our friend Spirit May talk to us. So know how to balance snd receive it fresh from Him. However NASB 2020 rocks. The portability of this size is decent. It’s handily. Complements an iPad mini. But smaller than other iPads.

Best mistake I ever made!
For Christmas, I received an Amazon voucher, and immediately started to look for what to spend it on, as one does! I settled on this Bible, and started the purchase process, but somewhere through it all, I made a mistake and had to backtrack to rectify it. While doing this, I missed the bit about having to re-enter the voucher! Major Oops!It wasn't until a few days later when I received an email from Amazon that I realized my mistake, and by then it was too late, as it was already in the hands of Royal Mail. Needless to say, I rectified the issue by buying something else with the voucher; and I have to say that this is the only time my wife has not berated me for 'buying yet another book from Amazon!'It is a translation that I find very comforting to read, (this from a die-hard KJV purist!) and will take its place as my Bible for as long as I; or this Bible; or this planet, keep going! Well worth the outlay, with the size being a plus, leather-bound, and God's word to boot. What more could one want!?Buy it!

Great Bible
I had to purchase this Bible for a school I was taking part in. It's VERY thin and extremely lightweight, but with that in mind the font is a reasonable size so it's not hard to see the words. The NASB translation itself is good, and they have tried to make it as literal a translation as possible without making it hard for our modern minds to understand. There are a few notes placed at the bottom of the page when needed, but if you are looking for something with more notes, descriptions and narratives then I'd go for a study Bible, which are quite a bit thicker and heavier, but have a much larger amount of text explaining things in greater detail (for readers that like to ask questions). It's the True and Living Word of God so I can't give it any less than 5 stars. I love the Bible and this copy is no exception. It's encouraging, challenging, mind blowing and so much more.

Sturdy quality and comfortable font
This Bible has a premium quality leather coated cover and the pages are of good quality eventhough they are on a thinner side. The font size is so comfortable to read and I impressed with the font style. And the red letter print is quite mesmerising in the daylight. The Bible is simply fantastic in terms of the design, quality and portability. I honestly recommend this Bible to anyone. Go for it.
