Twisted Warped Slats and Price Increase ?
Took away two stars, as three of the slats were twisted/warped and would not lay flat on the frame. Hoping that the weight of the foam mattress will eventually result in them laying flat. Easy to put together, but the directions were very hard to read, as the printer must have run out of ink Not hard to figure out assembly though. Seems study and if not for the slat issue and poor printing on the direction sheet, it could have been easily a 4-5 star product. Noticed pricing went up $30 dollars after my purchase? Doesn't seem right to increase a product by $30, especially when multiple items are reflected as being "in stock". If you are interested, might want to search the internet and see if you can locate another supplier at the previous price.

Much better than metal.
This one replaces a metal one punched 2 years ago that was really noisy. The slats were warped, but using 1 1/4 drywall and wood glue I screwed down and glued all mating surfaces to eliminate any possible noise... success. I weigh 220 and the wife 105, with the old metal one if she moved an arm it shouted like an old metal bridge falling, with this one.... just quietness.... bliss. The hardest part was stretching the cover over the frame at the end. Also beware the bottom is open, our cat loves the hide in there, is that a deal breaker, no BUT for the price it should have had a full cover. Would I buy again, yes (I replaced a cheaper metal one with this and I'm happy)

A great find..
Even with the good reviews I was a little hesitant to purchase this but so glad I did. We had purchased a king box spring from sams club and the thing made so much noise even when turning, that any neighbor would think I was a porn star.Prime membership so shipping was free. I had it mostly together in 15 minutes thanks to a good quality ratchet spanner that comes with it. The slats took a little longer. Some were approx 8th of a inch too wide, but I was about to force them in by taking one side higher. When I came to the last slat I could not do that and ended up having to cut one end slightly. It went onto the bed ok and zero noise. A good buy.

This is a great item. It was very easy to assemble
This is a great item. It was very easy to assemble. I am a heart patient so I move slow and I had this together in under 30 minutes. A couple of the sides were warped, however if you get each bolt in and slowly tighten them , moving from corner to corner as you tighten, everything straightens out and pulls together nicely. I purchased the king size foundation for our memory foam mattress, it had been sitting on two king size box springs until I ordered this. It does not move, does not creak, is not noisy at all. I've slept better since using this than I have in years.

So far so good!
The only issue I had was that the package came without instructions. I'm assuming this was just a one time packaging mistake. I was able to figure it out fairly easily and I put some pictures up at [...]showing the (hopefully correct) process and what the box spring looks like. I'm really happy with the price. We've had it for a couple weeks and we've had no problems with it at all.It was fairly heavy to carry upstairs for me, but my husband would've been able to handle it fine. I just was impatient to get it built.

Worked with some beefing up
This bed frame I bought for our memory foam mattress. Did not have any broken pieces, after getting it all laid out on the floor thought it was rather light weight and wouldn't hold up to our king size heavy foam mattress. After putting it all together and on the bed frame it is actually stronger than it looks. I added a few 2x4 supports on the very end of the bed where it hangs off the bed frame, if you sat on the very end of it the frame would actually sink down a inch or so.This was before adding the mattress, not sure if it would have down this after the bed was down, probably would have. ALso not sure why but our two end pieces where either warped or they where stapled in the wrong spot causing each end of the frame to be about 3/4" of higher than it should be. It was almost like the holes they drilled on the end where each end goes into was off by that 3/4", causing the end to sit that much higher. Not a huge deal and after putting the mattress on and all the bedding you couldn't tell any height difference. I also cut and added the thinnest sheet of wood ( 1/4" ) to the entire top before laying down the foam mattress. I did not like the fact that the foam mattress would be sitting on these slats with the gap it comes with. Seemed to me the mattress would eventually sag into the slot gaps. Overall with the 2x4 supports on each end , and the thin plywood on top it is extremely sturdy and does not creek or crack when we get on the bed and works really well. ONly gave it a 3 because of the misaligned ends and my thoughts of needing some beefing up.

High quality and well made
My husband set this up by himself and while it was a pain, it was doable. We got this to go on a wonderful memory foam mattress from Bed in a Box and it works great for the intended purpose. We're very happy we decided to purchase this one instead of the much more expensive ones directly from the manufacturer. It was well put together, sturdy, fairly simple to assemble, and is a nice flat surface for our mattress to sit on!

Poorly made. Could not assemble as pieces did not fit together.
After spending an hour and half putting this together, it turns out that all the pieces did not fit together properly. The slats will not fit into the frame. I'd attempt to go borrow a saw and try to fix this myself, however some of the slats are also severely warped and need to replaced as well.I am currently waiting for a response from the company. It would be a pain to have to dissemble everything and try to pack it back up and ship it back.
