Excellent quality item. Difficult to find too but Amazon provides once again!For reference, this dish will hold a little over 2 pints so perfect for trifles...Enjoy....

Perfect size
I brought this to use for popouri . Its pretty , good quality glass , a good weight not light flimsy glass . Has many uses , would look great with a trifle in it

Smaller than expected
I ordered this to make a trifle for a small party of about 10 people. As it stated it was a large bowl it sounded perfect. However when it arrived I was disappointed as it was much smaller than expected. I have kept it as it is a nice bowl but will probably have to make another small trifle as well.
