Smith & Wesson M&P Special Ops Survival Knives with Full-Tang Construction, 5"-7", Black Oxide Coated Stainless Steel Blade, For Tactical, Survival, and Outdoors

I ordered two of these to round out a survival "go bag" for two family members. I've never been disappointed by anything with an S&W logo on it.These knives are incredibly nice, well made and super high quality. For $30 the quality is AMAZING!

I've used Smith and wesson camping knives for a long time, and they are excellent for the price. This is a good addition to the kit, even if not a fan of sawback designs. Ive carved roasts, split kindling, and carved feather sticks and the edge holds well, and is very easy to sharpen. The steel isn't super hard, so it doesn't chip easily. This is not a one-tool survival kit, but for a casual hobbyist learning bushcraft or as a car knife for questionable situations it's excellent.

(Left side blade in photo)Its weighty its sharp and eveything i was hoping for when i selected it. Its now the biggest blade in my daily carry. My only complaint is the snaps on the belt loop for the sheath but thats nothing a little needle and thread cant fix. So definitely recommend the blade

I was really surprised at how much I liked this knife. I didn't know what to expect because it didn't cost a million dollars. But when I began using it I loved it right away. Super tough. Perfect size

I've been looking for a smaller version of my K-bar and this is it with an improvement.The guard cants forward (personal preference). I don't mind the saw edge. The handle retaining strap sucks and must have been put on while in a haze. I removed mine then cut slits up near the pommel. I inserted an adjusted belt keeper and glued it secure.

Nice weight to it. Feels great in your hand and I have big hands. Nice edge. Arrived super sharp. Great value. Good job Smith and Wesson. I might have to buy another one. Plus it looks good! I like the pumel in the back because my thumb fits good on it for the over head jab.

Came sharp. Good for a truck knife or to throw in a tool box like it did. I'd recommend

Fantastic knife, love M&P line of products. Smith & Wesson can be counted on for quality & good design! The scabbard however was a big letdown! It is bulky plastic with a clunky “L” design for what I’m assuming is strapping it to a belt. The clasps are also not very functional with the strap to secure the knife was so tight it didn’t actually snap closed, the scabbard has 2 additional straps that are permanently molded into it making the entire scabbard bulky & poorly designed. The knife is great but without simple, flat leather or plastic scabbard this feels feels like a cheap product.
