Good 👍
This works good enough for the price I would recommend better quality if you have the money but if you on a budget these are good.

I wanted to like this eyepiece and ultimately returned it. Build seems solid and has a decent field of view. Image quality and clarity was lacking which is why I returned it.

Loose lens elements
The media could not be loaded. I bought one of these and it arrived in a seemingly new box, inside a plastic bag, and even with a little desicant silica pouch, so looked good to start off with. Unfortunately metal retaining rings on both ends were loose (see photo with arrow) and the eyepiece had the sound of a loose element. Even with a little finger tightening of the retainers, this unit still suffers from a loose element. You can hear it in the short video that I have included. Gave it a shot on the telescope and performance was marginal; not what you would expect from the solid machining and reputation of TMB eyepieces.I set up a return/exchange with Amazon, which went smoothly and quickly. Unfortunately, the second unit received suffers from the identical problem. Sorry to say I will be returning this as well.If you can live with the question of why a lens element is loose inside this eyepiece and the resulting marginal views, the one thing this has going for it is that it does provide a nice wide field of view, as advertised. I am just sorry that this appears to be some kind of factory second or something. No reason for there to be loose elements inside.

Perfect for low budget planet imaging!
Whether for planet imaging or just personal enjoyment, this eyepiece delivers fantastic Field of View and a HUGE amount of eye relief due to multi-element lensing. You can see all the details of planets like Jupiter and Saturn from 2+ inches away from the eyepiece! Also the outer plastic casing can be easily be unscrewed and taken off to fit into a DSLR camera eyepiece adaptor attachment.Note: This eyepiece will yield very high magnification. Be sure your telescope's aperture is large enough to handle it. Too small of an aperture will result in fuzzy, dim images. Anything telescope over a 150mm/6inch aperture shouldn't have any issues.
