In a moment of desperation, I was successfully cajoled into buying an $80 face oil from Sephora. That oil not only did not clear my skin (which broke out to stress and vicious cycle of using harsh products) it gave me dry patches that looked like a rash and would burn and sting when I sweated, so early summer was not a great time for my skin. I wanted to give CeraVe a try because I remembered using it as a teen but after looking into it, saw that it wasnt Vegan (and not CF). Thank goodness I found Ceramedx. My skin felt better the next morning after I used it the first night. It was no longer tight, hot and itchy. I use it both AM and PM and the consistency is a lightweight lotion. It's been a few weeks now and in combination with the Ceramedx body lotion (which I use on my face in the PM for nights when I need something extra) the Ceramedx facial wash and a SA toner; my skin has started to heal AND clear up. I really wish these products were more widely available in stores so more people have a chance to try it. It's healing, not harsh, simple, reasonably priced, CF AND VEGAN! Forget Cerave; beauty products shouldn't be ugly. Put something truly beautiful and beautifying on your face. Ceramedx all the way!

The most gentle moisturized I have found for my rosacea-affected skin. It’s light-weight, absorbes quickly, and leaves my skin very soft.

I have been using there products for years. I have rosecea and dry skin that is prone to break outs. I know great combination. I use this and the foaming face wash. In the winter I keep a bottle of face moisturizer in my bag to use on my hands and face. Its silky and absorbes quickly. The other great thing about their products is that they are fragrance free and they do not test on animals!! Plus you cannot beat the price for great skin care!!

The product felt light, but it did not reduce the redness on my nose and cheeks, which was the main reason I purchased this product. I had hoped it would help but it did notl

I have tested this lotion thoroughly, and it irritates my skin badly no matter where I put it in my skincare routine. I assume that the culprit is the Ophiopogon Japonicus root extract, because it’s the only ingredient that I haven’t tried before. It’s such a shame, too, because this is a great lotion. It has no scent yet doesn’t smell funky the way many fragrance free products do. The texture is silky. It does a great job of moisturizing. It’s really a perfect daytime moisturizer for dry skin. I’m so disappointed that I can’t use it. I took off just one star for the reaction because it’s such a great product otherwise.

This is my new favorite lotion. It’s unscented and lightweight. When I put it on it’s like my skin is having the feeling I do when I am thirsty and have a drink of water - ahhhh - hydration. No irritation. And after a few months of use, my skin’s “matte finish” has returned to its former natural “eggshell” glow. Price feels reasonable for the quality of the vegan, cruelty-free ingredients, and when compared to other products.

I’ve been using the face wash in this same line for quite a while, and I love everything about it. I wanted to love this product too. I had such high hopes. These hopes were immediately halted when I pumped the product into my hand and smelled what I can only compare to pond water. Absolutely foul. But I pressed on. I should mention that I have very dry, very sensitive skin. Which is the type of skin that this product is intended for. It did not adequately moisturize, even using several pumps. My face broke out. It pilled underneath my sunscreen and makeup. This might work for some people, but for me it was just awful.
