My husband is Puerto Rican and said that I needed to try this candy. It is DELICIOUS! and we were on a month long bender eating these barks. The honey is definitely noticeable with each bite and it doesn't stick to your teeth like a Butterfinger would. The crunched up almonds are amazing and plentiful and the bark has a nice crispy curnchy mouth feel to it. If you love sweets, I'd highly recommend them!

This is a treat perfect for Christmas. Gave them as give to some of my friends, they love them. Very popular in Spain. Have a very special flavor. Good after dinner with coffee.

Riquisimo

Price for this is relatively good, considering it is being delivered to my home. The turron itself was extremely hard, almost requiring the use of a hammer and chisel to break it up. Some of the almonds had a slight rancid taste. Although I was not 100% satisfied, I feel there was enough there to provide a certain degree of value for the money. Your mileage will vary.

At 7 oz, it’s the ideal size for sharing (if you can bring yourself to share!). Important allergen note: This product contains almonds, egg whites, and honey, so those with nut or egg allergies should avoid it. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic traditional Spanish treat that I highly recommend!
