My son loves this toy. It works as intended and is not very easily damaged. Battery life is very well so it’s enough for my son to have fun with it.

Easy to use and definitely fun for kids to dance along with. For any kiddo in your life that is in their baby shark phase would love this.Sturdy standard plastic toy but it is a bit heavy.

My 2 yr old niece absolutely loves this toy! She dances non-stop to it and gets everyone to dance with her. It senses if she stops dancing or if she's too far away. Great active engagement toy!

The baby shark rendition is very cute and does the FULL song. It also does a baby shark nighty night song which the baby I got it for really likes. The night light part is soft so it won't keep baby awake. The peek-a-boo is the cutest. The baby I got it for learned to play peek-a-boo from this toy. You don't even need the mask. You can cover the sharks eyes with your hand, a blanket, or a pillow. I turn it upside down on the floor (covering the eyes) and it does the peek-a-boo or nighty night version of baby shark. The only reason I give this a 4 for value is because I went to order a second one for my nephew and it had gone up in price several dollars. I thought that was a BIG jump in price when your talking a third more than what I paid a couple months ago for the first one. So I'm not sure if I'll order a second one or not. I know it's supply and demand but that's a little rediculous!.

My austic grandson is obsessed with this toy he is five he Carry’s it around everywhere. I orginally it bought at goodwill. He broke it. It stopped dancing. But who knows the condition it was actually in buying it use. I had to order him a new one as it broke his heart. He try’s to carry it everywhere with him. It’s a little big for that but he manages thanks for the greatest toy ever

This is actually our THIRD DJ Shark. We bought the first 2 from Target, and after returning both for defectiveness, I ordered one from Amazon after seeing the 5 star reviews here and no complaints. I think that they’re getting dropped in the stores, worn out, etc. This one from Amazon works great! It really does detect motion, so when you’re not moving, it might be frustrating for the kids who just like to stand there and watch the shark dance. The room also can’t be too well lit. It needs to be able to see your shadow pass in front of it - so like the shark needs to face an open window with the kids dancing between the shark and the window. My kids (2 and 6) love it - which is why we’ve worked so hard to find one where all the features work. I also highly suggest changing the batteries right away! It works so much better on regular batteries and not demo batteries.
