Not great but still a lot better than the Wickham sisters’ stories (This review may contain spoilers)
One word for the Wickham sisters – BOUNDARIES! Holy cow! Seriously, who waits outside the door while their cousins are having sex and then slips a note under the door asking what the sex was like? Oh my friggin’ goddess! These are supposed to be adult women, not high schoolers. It wasn’t funny in Rebecca’s story and it’s not funny in this story, and I haven’t cracked open Paisley’s story yet but I’m certain it won’t be funny there either. Lose the Wickham sisters. And I’m a little tired of Scarlet’s blog posts, if they can be called that. Her arrogance is trying my last nerve. The only funny part of those was the accidental text Madden sent to Keller. This story didn’t really grab me the way Rebecca’s story did. I actually found myself falling asleep in some parts because it dragged on for so long. I like that it’s a longer book but it’s long for the wrong reasons. Some parts were too short, others were too long, and some parts seemed like they didn’t really need to be there. And I’m still suggesting Celia Kyle hire an editor. There were a few typos and some scenes didn’t make sense. In one scene Lorelei is cut and bled by a couple of werewolves but we don’t get any mention of the blades appearing or who is holding the blades. We just get that the blades cut her and we don’t know where they cut her. I’m going to assume it was on the shoulders were Zeke and Dylan later bit her but there’s no way to be sure.Which comes to my next issue with this story. Zeke made me giggle. He was such a stinker, but a sweet stinker. I would love to bend him over the bed, or my knee, and get after him with my riding crop. Dylan was sweet but he didn’t seem all that special to me. I guess he was meant to be the adult while Zeke was the kid. Even their names seemed a little cliché in that area. The picture on the book cover features one man with a tattoo but nothing was mentioned about who had the tattoo in the book. Would have been nice so we could have known what the tattoo said, unless the pictures are just eye candy. If they’re just eye candy then why bother? I’d have also liked to know what color Zeke’s hair was. I kept leaning toward light brown or dark brown close to black like Berke’s hair. I also pictured Dylan with brown eyes or blue eyes. There’s no mention of his eye color.Steamy sex scenes as usual, literally in this case. Nice little kinky bits but it felt a little vanilla. Zeke and Dylan reference verbally and internally that Lorelei seems to like a little pain but there didn’t seem to be too much other than the biting where they claim her.I did like Lorelei. She’s sweet, funny and fierce. Although I wish she hadn’t lost her gun so quickly. It would have been fun to read her holding Zeke and Dylan at gun point for interrogation purposes or other things. I kind of would have liked to read her firing a shot at Zeke for lying to her about taking her to see Dylan and not Rebecca first. Also how is it that the Twynham sisters are so much more mature than the Wickham sisters are? I read the Wickham sisters’ stories and I want to drive a nail into my head but I read the Twynham sisters’ stories – the stories I’ve read so far - and I feel happy and giggly inside. Couldn’t Celia have just scrapped the Wickhams – save for Whitney. I like Whitney - and made it all about the Twynhams? They’re so much more interesting. That being said, I am still waiting for the unanswered questions of how the women mating with these werewolves are not turned into werewolves themselves and how the werewolves born to these human women are not hybrid werewolves. I also want to know more about the Warden Born and the existence of werewolves, if their existence is purely biological or biological with supernatural hints. There’s only so much a reader can interpret. Hopefully they’ll be answered in Paisley’s story but I don’t have high hopes

Not the strongest entry in this series, but I like the overarching storyline
The fifth in the series features Lorelei Twynham, cousin to the Wickham sisters, being transported to the Gathering and meeting her Warden men, Dylan and Zeke. The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between-funny shifter romance series: I’ve been reading these since the beginning, and I like the heroines and their humor, and the possessive/protective Alphas in this world. Ms. Kyle has an overarching storyline going on with the Wickham and Twynham sisters and the Five Families’ quest to hurt them for their interference in the way the Gathering is conducted and revealing that Wardens are allowed to have mates.-Lorelei’s got a (pink) gun: She’s very much in line with earlier heroines. She’s not necessarily insecure about her looks, she’s more concerned about protecting herself and those she loves and being strong enough to defend herself. She was attacked years ago, and she refuses to be defenseless. I liked her.-Dylan and Zeke are typical Alphas: Dylan’s tailored clothes and Zeke is ripped jeans and Chucks, but they’re very much in form as Warden Alphas.-Ok, so it’s a formula: You either enjoy the formula or not, but there is definitely one here. Heroine meets alpha duo, sparks fly, some doubt, and then hey! it’s a menage with DP. It’s all MFM. For me, I don’t mind a formula as long as it’s done well. I know what I’m getting and I like what I get. Lorelei and her men take a backseat to the overarching story a bit and there's almost no backstory for the guys, but the big beats are touched on, and I am interested in seeing how they save the final Twynham sister, Paisley. The Bottom LineA funny, quick read that features a BBW heroine and some hot werewolves. If that’s up your alley, I think you’ll enjoy it.

Review: Lorelei ~ A fun, quick, and sexy ménage!
~ 4 Lorelei Stars ~Lorelei is book five in the Alpha Marked series by Celia Kyle. I love reading a good ménage and CKyle knows how to write them. Even though this series started off with little meat. It has gotten better the more I read. I love the covers and blurbs for these books.Lorelei, human also warden born, but she does’t know this yet. I love her bravery. She hides, but at the same time takes everything in her environment in. She learns what she can and faces down a Hot Alpha wolf with a pink hand gun.Dylan and Zeke, Warden pair. These two sexy alpha male werewolves will do anything to protect their fated mate. They never thought to have a mate, but boy do they show their protective side as well as their sensual one.I enjoy the world CKyle has created. The different types of wolves and women. I like how each character has a different personality and that each group of alpha or warden pairs complement each other, then add in their fated women and it’s a great match. It's refreshing! The sex scenes are Hot, Sexy, and Steamy! The plot is small, but still engaging enough to keep the story going.I can’t wait for Paisley book in the Alpha Marked series. Lorelei was a fun, quick, and sexy ménage. I loved it!

Much awesomeness
As always with Celia Kyle, this book is well written with lovable characters, a good story line, kick-ass (slightly crazy) women, and lots of fun. I love this series.I will now be patiently (snort) awaiting the next book in the series while hoping that they have more cousins to pop up. Second cousins thrice removed... whatever... anything to keep the series going.
