Handy tool!!
The quality and value of this tool speak for themselves. Easy to store and use while hiking or camping and performs well.

Great tool, but very stiff
I like all the features of the tool, although I haven't started any fires yet. The attached paracord is firecord; it has a red filament the is coated so it will burn. It's a very interesting idea. I found you can buy extra firecord on the internet. The knife, saw, can opener blades are extremely stiff. I took a special screw driver and loosened the screw on the blades and now I can use them. I haven't been able to find the storage for the extra flints. If you take the spring out of the lighter you find it presses against the flint at the striker wheel. I didn't find any extra flints and I think you would have a hard time inserting them in the spring housing. It is a novel tool for emergencies and nice to have around.

Whoopi new toy! Wait?
Very novel idea. This has the same spark wheel of a zippo lighter at best. Exotac(USA), and chinese made types other than this throw more sparks than this. I collect striker wheel do dads. This would work well with alcohol stoves, cotton vasaleen, and other easily........easily lit tinder. I find this novel and it does not disappoint. The knife is sharp enough to process tinder. The saw is small. I learned a long time ago in the United States Navy just about anything can open a bottle. LOL All three tools on this side share a spring, but all in all I am happy I have one........Just one. I will be using this as a training aid. Sometimes life only gives you this, and if this is all you have dont bother shaving fatwood. I would stop and grab your favorite wax/cotton tinder and rough up the fibers and let it spin. Poof! Fresh alcohol dash or white gasoline (Coleman liquid fuel) / naptha (liquid lighter fluid) yah they are the same thing, would be welcome with wood alone.

Swiss army fire starter
This thing is like the Swiss army of fire starters. That being said honestly some flint and steel would be better. It was fun to mess around with though!

Coolest thing ever.
Love the small size but don't let that fool you. This is one amazing tool. Fits in my pocket nicely. Feel very secure carrying it when hiking. You just never know.
