I bought this filter in advance and store it for my next filter replacement since the filter I normally buy was not available. Fast forward 6 months... I just tried to install it and found out that it does not fit my LG LSXC22396S, even though the description (as of 05/24/2021) says it does. I cannot return it either because I bought it last year. I'm going back to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FYDT939/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which does fit perfectly.

Warning - this is not an exact replacement for the LG LT1000P filter. There are large tabs that prevent being able to slide in and twist the filter into the refrigerator water supply. I bought an OEM LG LT1000P (which doesn't have the large tabs), and it installed easily. Buyer beware!

Pretty good replacement filter. Haven't seen any difference between this one and the oem one, when it comes to function. I should note that I have a whole home filter, so this is just extra insurance. But ice is clear and has not taste, like it should. I think the filter element itself if a little smaller than the LG one, just because there is an indent in the bottom of the icepure to help twist it into place.

First replacement for a 6 mo old, new fridge. This water filter was not shaped exactly like or have the manufacturer's brand name the one replaced, but was a match to my make and model in the sellers information. It does fit and works well after a day.

I didn’t feel the quality of the water was good enough. I have a water meter and the reading was at around 200 & + for contaminate’s in the water

This product was to replace the water filter on my LG refrigerator. Install was easy and it works.

This filter is NOT compatible with the LG LFXC22596S Refrigerator. When stalled the water dribbled out. Tried the second filter from this order; there was no change. Installed the proper LG filter and water poured out as it should. I would not recommend purchasing these filters.
