Holds the pressure really well.
I bought a much heavier duty version of this, years ago, from Reynolds Advanced Materials ( who I love ) and it cost me $700+ dollars... and it never held it's pressure from day-one. Sometimes molds take 24 hours to cure under pressure, so I'd have to baby-sit it and re-up the pressure about every 3-4 hours... and that sucks. This one is SUCH a better value. This thing works great. After you pressurize, wait one minute ( it'll go down about a pound ) and re-up to the pressure you want. And It'll stay in perpetuity.I bought a second one, it was so great! And they're packaged really well. Great value.I do wish one of these companies would make a tool that fits over the wing-nut so you can tighten and open it faster and easier, with some leverage ( for that first tight turn ). I open and close these many times a day, and it starts to wear out my "wimpy artist" wrists.

Best pressure pot for casting
What can I say, this does the job splendidly! I feel so much safer using this over my el cheapo pressure pot that scared the ghost out of me everytime I used it. This one has such a secure way of clamping down the lid that it will bring the peace of mind needed when you’re worried about the top blowing off and knocking your grill out. Spend a few extra bucks and work SAFE! Stay away from that horrible cheap one! Not having to convert this for casting saves another $60 or so too. Holds pressure for 24 hours with no noticeable leakage. It’s a heavy duty, quality pressure pot at a great price.

Resin Casting works great
One item that surprised me and now I understand why some manufactures note that their resin pots "fit a 5 gallon bucket". This pressure pot holds 5 gallons but does not hold a 5 gallon bucket. When casting resins you want something between your pot and the mold, I was planning on using a 5 gallon bucket. The system still works fine, I just had to cut about 1/2" off the top of bucket and drill a couple finger holds to pull the bucket out.The instructions were a bit funny. At some point whoever wrote the instructions forgot to use the space key on computer. It only took a few minutes to figure out where the spaces belongs and then the instructions were fine. The performance of the pot is great. Just a couple minor issues to get started. It arrived on time.

Sturdy.
Easy to assemble and use. I set it to 50 PSI and left on vacation for a week. When I came back the needle hadn’t moved.

Excellent product
Shopped around for a pressure pot for a while, and everyone said things were broken and didn't hold the pressure. Set his up in a minimal amount of time and for the first test I pressurized it and left it for two days and the pressure did not drop at all. This product works really well.

Great Pressure Pot
Have only had this for about a week but as soon as I received it I put it to the test. Pressured up to 60 # and let it sit for 2 days. Did not lose even a single pound. Would definitely recommend to other looking for this type of pot.

Excellent tool
Update finally responded and replaced the original. This is a fantastic tool when it works. After a couple months it started leaking from one of the valves. I've been trying to get a response from California Air Tools but they are absolutely unresponsove. The leaking is so bad now it's useless - it even leaks under low pressure. I bought this instead of a cheap harbor freight one hoping it would give me the quality I need for my business but it seems like their quality and customer service are not what I expected.

Easy to use
The one I got was well made, solid and everything worked right out of the very well built wooden and heavy carboard shipping box. Not one leak or issue so far in a month of use. If I put 42lbs of pressure in the tank it stays at 42lbs for over 8 hours. I have heard that some got one that was defective or damaged, but mine was shipped well protected and I do not think there was not even a scratch on the paint. The handles had a lil wear but they are strong and easy to grab. It is easy to line up and seal too. If I had any complaints it would be that the gauge is hard to read. I might tilt it up some.
