Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was exactly what i was looking for...i had purchased a scope that came with Weaver mounts. But i needed dove tail mounts. These fit perfectly and were simple to install. Only complaint...but not enough to remove a star, was that there were no instructions. I had to go online to fine max torque specs for installing...but not a big deal in this day and age of the interweb.

So I have a Savage .17 with the heavy barrel and needed to mount my BSA Sweet 17 scope. My rifle also has the pictancy rails. So you can easily move your scope mounts forward or backward. The first set of rings I bought had the double screw hold downs which made them a hair to wide for the scope to sit down. So I took some measurements and found these. Installed my scope within minutes. They seam quality made but or made it China but what isn't!

I've tried a few expensive rings hoping to get better quality that did not fit as well. These are actually very nice don't go crazy torquing them down just nice and steady like you should put some purple or blue loctite and your golden these are a tad taller than most medium rings just a little bit but that's okay. They fit the European dovetail perfectly and they're inexpensive you know what you're getting when you purchase them because the product description is pretty spot on good luck hope this helps.
