Apologizes for the late reply, The smokebuddy has a lifespan exceeding 300 uses. The filter is not cleanable however you can clean the interior and exterior plastic with a moist towel. Hope this helps.

Is this the original or jr?

The original would have a toy accompanying the smokebuddy. As you can see in the picture: toy is on top right of the item. The jr smokebuddy would not include the toy.
