Organic and very fresh! I use them daily for oral health, and occasionally for tea when I'm feeling under the weather. The amount you receive at the price point is very good. I'm on my second bag now and intend to order more. I transfer a certain amount into another container for daily use to ensure the contents in the bag stay fresh. Compared to other brands that I have used, this brand has a noticeably fresher and stronger flavor than the others.
