A must buy for Sniper Elite fans
Great game for the Switch—overall good graphics and performance. I would highly recommend, one of the best games in the Sniper Elite series.

It's getting better
There is a lot to like about this game. The graphics are nice. The map design is much more open allowing for multiple angles to approach objectives, and there is this nice touch now when you tag an enemy. A small bio appears at the bottom of the screen telling you something about each person. Those are nice touches.Though some problems remain. Sometimes the kill shot cut scene is a bit sporadic. I mean you line up a shot, it's perfect and it results in a wound, so you fire a second shot just hoping for the best and the cut scene activates.Another small issue I found is with the new ability to climb structures and move sideways along ledges etc. It's a nice new addition and it does virtually nothing for the game. Nothing at all. I've used it, yes. But there seems to be nothing in game that makes any difference or even a purpose to being able to do this. I've found structures I could climb but only after finishing the objective and discovering that it basically doesn't matter. It's still a fun game if you like this sort of thing. There are new kill scenes for melee kills, the enemies converge on you quickly and in numbers if they know where you are, and it's fun planning traps for them. I've been hit with some sort of air strike or rocket attack for failing to relocate after being found. There is a lot of new stuff in here. The developers have made an effort to keep us coming back, and I would say it's worth it after finishing sniper 3.The character is still a bit annoying but that's ok. I am fairly happy with this one.Update. So, about eight hours play. That's how long the campaign lasted for me. On medium difficulty setting with lots of creeping around, it's not especially difficult.I have been messing around the with online co op with strangers, and it does add an extra dimension to the game. You will need a switch online membership to play. It's ok but mostly it's just the two or more people rampaging around with caution to the wind. You can revive one another if you are badly Injured but it's largely chaotic, yet sort of fun.Planning on trying some of the dlc next.

Entertaining co-op sniper game from WWII
My son has been quietly playing this game ever since it arrived. This game, however, is not for young children. Not only does the game look like it requires some skill to play but the character is a sniper who sneaks around and hides dead bodies all over the map. Some of the deaths have been quite graphic as well (there is a bone-crushing x-ray kill cam) and I've heard the occasional language that I would not want my kid to repeat. That being said, the scenery is impressive and the graphics are decent for a hand held game.
