We just purchased a home which has a waterless urinal in the garage. That was a serious selling point. I don’t know how old the cartridge was so I ordered a new one. It was pretty tough to remove. I used a flat blade acre driver and a deadblow hammer to loosen it out. Installing the new waterless cartridge was easy once the urinal is scrubbed and cleaned out. The cartridge snapped in and after it was filled with water, yea sealant was easy to apply. Ordering again when needed.

It does what it should. Will buy again. I was only concerned with the pollution aspect of the installation handle.. wish we didn't have to pollute so much to install. ( only reason why I gave it a 4 and not 5 star rating)

There are 3 waterless urinals at my church. I became the church janitor last year. The previous janitor faithfully replaced the cartridges every 6 months because they started to smell. What he did not realize is that the packet of Blue Seal, the blue liquid that comes with a new cartridge, gets diluted over time and no longer can provide an effective odor barrier. You need to add another 3 oz (90 ml) of Blue Seal into the cartridge. This liquid floats on top and provides that barrier. You can buy a 1 qt bottle of this product. These cartridges are rated at 7000 uses. Each urinal at church has about 1000 uses annually. I replace every 5 years. You only need to replace them when they become slow to drain.

The product is fine. Delivery was fine. It’s just ridiculously expensive which has nothing to do with Amazon per se. I made the mistake of putting in a waterless urinal and now I have to I put up with the expense of maintaining it. Thank you for making the product available and making it so easy to obtain it. I realizeBut there’s not much you can do about the price. I would advise anyone thinking about installing a waterless urinal to think again.
