We are proud to present this amazing single origin bean just in time to celebrate the holidays. Grown at 4,000 feet above sea level in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Mountains of coastal Colombia, this balanced coffee captures the essence of the Caribbean, near which it is grown. With an aroma of roasted hazelnut and a slight hint of brine, the brew boasts syrupy notes of dark honey, red cedar and preserved forest fruit. Floating on the finish is a glimpse of sea salt, that escapes just as you take another sip. This is the perfect coffee to complement any holiday meal (even if your mashed potatoes are really mashed cauliflower). We're super proud of this one. For an ideal experience, use a french press, aeropress or pour over. Or just eat the beans, no one will judge. Suggested use: For the a bold Caveman Coffee Blend, use this roast. Add cacoa butter or your favorite spice to your lipid mix for a real paleo treat. (See our recipe page for specific Caveman ideas) Note: Before your daily grind, be sure to shake your bag. The lighter beans are heavier and sink to the bottom.
