The first two Geo crocks I received from Amazon both had hairline cracks out of the box. A lot of them. So I was skeptical about ordering a third but to my surprise it arrived in perfect condition. I’ve been using it a grand total of twelve hours and so far it’s working great. No leaks and no drips from the spout. If it starts leaking or there are other issues I’ll update my review. *4/2/24 UPDATE- after using the crock for over six months it works perfectly. The spout doesn’t drip at all. However, I noticed the last time I washed it it has quite a few hairline cracks. I wash it very carefully once a month so can’t imagine the cracks are from washing. My presumption is the cracks are from the weight of the 3 pound bottles we use, maybe when seating the bottles. I can’t imagine using the crock for a 5 lb bottle since it’s already got hairlines. Regardless, the cracks seem to be an aesthetic issue only for now. We love this crock!

We buy RO drinking water in 5 gallon jugs and used this for dispensing the water. It works as advertised and looks good. It’s easy to clean in between new bottles and it does not leak. We bought a small table for it to sit on, one made specifically for the water dispensers. That way we did not take up any counter space.

Great ceramic crock. Well made. Spigot is tightly seated in the jug and the top fits securely.

Good for about 18 months until it started leaking from the base. I ended up using it for another 6 months just wiping off the shelf where it was sitting every few days but finally I started getting a puddle all the way to the floor and I emptied it completely and dried It for an inspection. I noticed that it developed a hairline crack inside the basin around 6 inches in length. I really had to take a photo a magnify to notice the crack. I guess that is enough to let water seep through. I was hoping that it was just a leak from the valve seal but instead this makes the unit unusable and it would have to go to the garbage. Need to find a more reliable product now. The pot was sitting stable on a cork surface the whole time so it never got banged up or anything. I guess the porcelain layer is just too thin and doesn’t last long

We wanted to stop using 5 gal plastic jugs for our distilled water, so after some searching I found this Geo Sports Porcelain Ceramic Crock Water Dispenser with a SS spigot, It is approx. 3 gallons and is the perfect size. We bough a wooden bar stool for setting it on. We are very pleased with the ceramic crock in every way and highly recommend it.

holds a lot of liquid makes it nice so you don't have to make drinks over and over again the porcelain is nice and safe not like some dangerous toxic plastics its not heavy even when full the lever is the best part plungers and flip down levers fail and all the liquid pours out but this lever is just like a faucet no accidental at all I never had any spills with this product and its not slippery when wet no funny or odd odors odorless and no funny or odd tastes either absolutely no leaks when it comes to toxins all natural and the colors are pretty and attractive too a real great price for the quality I have two and they don't use too much space in the fridge a pleasure to have

We just had our bathroom remodeled and I wanted one of these crocks with black stripes to complement the design of the room and our new matte black fixtures. This crock arrived quickly and looks great, but I wish it came with a matte black spout. I ended up purchasing a matte black spout separately along with the metal stand, and I also got a water bottle dispenser seat to help prevent leak and better distribute the weight of the bottle on top of the crock. This crock comes with a plastic ring, but not a water bottle dispenser seat. The ceramic feels a little thin, but I do not see any hairline cracks and, so far, no leaks. It was fine as-is from the manufacturer, but at the price, should have better finishes and accessories.

replaces the one that fell years back. can't go wrong. Fill it with ice and water and put it on a countertop.

As advertised and the spout is good quality stainless steel. They provide a plastic ring for the top opening, where the lid will sit but it doesn't fit very well. It works but it could be made so the lid can fit more snug.
