The design of this opener is neat, but slow. As a bartender, I need something to work perfectly every time as fast as possible. Well, that's not this one, but certain things about it are still very appealing. I tore the first cork I removed in half, because I didn't insert it far enough. What that shows is the shear power of this opener. So long as it's fully inserted, it can remove any cork with ease. I actually wonder what its lb/in2 pressure is compared to a common wine key, because I am certain it is much greater. If you are looking for a wine key that is different from others, this is a good choice.

I break cork screws a lot. I was gifted one of these and have never broken it in 20 yrs. I but another to gift a friend.
