FirstAct Plus Flea Treatment for Dogs, Extra Large Dogs 89+ lbs, 6 Doses, Same Active Ingredients as Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs

This product is less expensive than Frontline, but has worked well on my 3 Life Stock Guardian dogs. They are exposed daily to ticks and fleas. I have found no fleas or lice and only dead ticks on the dogs.

The product was simple to use. Open vial and apply to dogs back.

I have tried ALL the "generic" Frontline on here. This is by far, the best one. The Amazon brand made several of my cats lose fur and break out. Smelled absolutely horrible like a fishy scent. This one did not. The others only keep fleas off for about 2 weeks and did not kill eggs because I kept finding teeny ones. Like fresh hatched. This one worked and killed all fleas. Lasted a month and did not smell strong. Will keep buying. Just like Frontline at a better price. (

It seemed like it worked at first.. the pets were itching more within the first several hours and by the next day, the itching had stopped. We had a great first couple of days, but by the end of the first week, the itching started again & upon further inspection- all of the pets still has fleas. I understand that it's normal to still see a flea or two on the pets bc they may be a new arrival and/or hadn't come in contact with the product, etc.. but the fleas we are seeing were in the usual areas on our pets that fleas typically like to hang out (like on their necks, stomachs, near the tail, etc), all the time. Also, our pets started itching again.. I know that with Advantage/tix, sometimes it takes a few weeks for the product to distribute throughout their fat or something like that, but from what I've read, this product is in the hair? So I don't know. I'm going to dose them again in a couple of days bc it will have been 2 weeks since the first dose. I'll update with our findings after then!

We buy largest size for our chihuahua and put one vial in glass ampule with lid. Use 0.5 ml per month which is the dose in the small dog size. All sizes are the same ingredients and strengths. Saves a lot of money. Keep a note book of treatment dates.

It works a little while then quits! It seems like a lot of flea and tic meds are not working well!

Perfect for my lab, no reactions or side effects. Get a deal for a couple months supply.

Easy to apply to the dogs especially the Great Dane. Seemed to work pretty quick both dogs stopped itching about an hour after application. Overall I’d say it’s a good bang for your buck!
