I always wanted to try this item. And it's great. I can now add some details to my props that will make it stand out. The item is sturdy and easy to use. Really easy to understand. And it comes with thick masking tape to get your panel lines all set up right.

Bought this combo to use on my various modeling projects (mostly 1/48 scale aircraft from WWII forward). The blades are nice enough, the tape is great and works better than masking tape in a lot of ways. The handle is cheap, thin aluminum and it can be too big for lots of projects. I have different handles that the blades work fine in, though. All in all it’s good for the price.

For the price, this scribing tool isn’t a bad deal. It comes with a variety of size options and even includes a roll of carving masking tape, which is a nice bonus. It’s definitely capable of getting those panel lines done, especially if you’re just starting out or on a budget.However, it’s not the most durable tool in the box. If you’re planning to use it heavily, be prepared for it to wear down sooner than you’d like. Also, swapping out the tips can be a bit of a hassle—it’s not exactly a quick process. All in all, it’s a decent tool for the price, especially with the added tape, but if you’re looking for something long-lasting, you might want to invest in a higher-quality option.

Nicely made product, having precision blades of different sizes is very useful. Only complaint is the rubber cap, wish it was a solid piece

I use this tool to deepen lines on plastic models. For this purpose it works well. The included sizes enable you to fit the scribe to the appropriate gap. Nice and sharp, they cut cleanly.

Good price compare to BMC lol. It’s really good for beginners who want try to use scriber
