Bonne Maman Limited Edition Spreads Advent Calendar, Exclusive Flavours for This Festive Season (x23 Mini Jars, & x1 Gift)

Amazon packaging a bit lacking, allowed a bit too much movement for the item which meant some of the flaps at the end of the calendar (where they would load the goods) came undone. Luckily they were easily tucked back in. No damage to the actual date windows as the advent sleeve is very good. I thought from the lack of product description there might have been repeats, and to be honest I was looking forward to sharing this advent with my sister. No one really needs several pots of the same flavour jam! However there are no repeats!! And being the foodie and jar hoarder that I am, I've decided to keep the whole advent for myself. A lot of the flavours read similar, and perhaps I won't be able to taste any difference, but I'm looking forward to trying them all. Don't worry sis. I bought another one for you ☺️ * After the event update Though everything above is still true, the labels on the jars are in French! Great if you can read French or use something like Google translate. However my elderly mother in law can do neither so the experience was spoilt for her. Yes, the labels have a small picture of what flavour is meant to be, such as a peach and sprig of mint for example but sometimes the pictures isn't so clear. They still tastes amazing but it would be much better to know what you're eating. Even my own and my sister's experiences was severely diminished with having to get the translator out each time. Unless you can read French, are good at guessing pictures or don't mind what flavour you're eating, maybe think twice about getting this :(

I bought this for my colleague who loves toast for breakfast and it was a huge hit! It was so fun opening each window and discovering a new flavour. Not all fruit jams which was a good way to experience new jams and a lovely present on the last day 😍 a high quality product.

Bought this for my parents/nan to share as they all live together. They're not very adventurous at trying different flavours so these mini pots were the perfect size for them. They've actually loved every single one they've had so far. They also loved the non-jam jar gifts that were behind the doors. I bought this on a special deal but would buy it again even at full price as it was so well received. The jars were difficult to get out, but that just proves how well packaged they are (which with glass jard you need!) The only very minor irk was that the jam jars had the flavour written in French. I managed to print off the flavours from the amazon description and used my school girl French to try and translate for my parents lol

Saw it on Tiktok and then found it on Amazon. Loved it! When it came, impressed by the size and quality. The small jars are the cutest thing ever! Variety of flavours, some very unusual. First one was apricot and banana, it was so good. Enough in the jar for 2 pieces of toast. I also used them on ice cream ( chocolate), in yoghurt and also as a flavouring in a cocktail. My version had 6 herbal teabags. Was not so keen on these, this is a personal preference, i dont like herbal teas usually. I think the American version is all jam. The 24th window was a surprise and I loved that too! You do ended up with 17 small jars. I've used them as containers for dressings etc for work lunches, homemade spice mix holders, and ornament display in kitchen! Will definitely be getting one next Christmas.

This is the third year that I've bought one of these calendars for my, now 90 year old, Mum. She loves them! Like many elderly people her appetite is very small now so these little jars with different and interesting flavours are a real treat with her daily toast. The flavours this year are - Apricot and Lavender; Apricot and Bergamot; Apricot and Mango; Pineapple and Passion Fruit; Cherry and Elderflower; Cherry and Spices; Cherry and Blackberry; Lemon and Yuzu; Fig and Cardamom; Strawberry and Verbena; Strawberry and Wild Strawberry; Seedless Raspberry; Raspberry and Redcurrant, Raspberry and Lychee; Mandarin; Mango, Peach and Lime; Blueberry and Backcurrant; White Nectarine and Peach; Orange and Cinnamon; Sweet Orange and Passion Fruit; Grapefurit and Dragon Fruit; Pear and Mirabelle Plum; Rhubarb and Strawberry. Expiry: 06/2021 (although I know individual jars have an expirry date into 2022, see next part of my answer about packaging for how I know that!) The packaging team at Bonne Maman need to revisit the box - 3 years in a row there are jars that slide down inside or burst out of the alloted "window" - so you open some windows to find nothing inside as they've fallen to the bottom. I've managed this year to open the box from the bottom and put everything back in place so not a huge problem. The packaging isn't made for individual shipment is the issue, fine if it was in a big box with others and lifted out to stack on shelves.

This advent calendar is amazing. Very beautiful box and each pot of jam has great flavour. Bonne Maman is always a top brand with jams. Well worth getting and will get one next year.
