ESV Student Study Bible (Hardcover, Flowers Design) Hardcover – Illustrated, January 7, 2021

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our niece who is in the early phases of her Christian journey. This Bible is a great tool for her, to help her study and understand the Bible better. It is beautifully laid out, and has a cute design (which is important to a teenage girl). I hope this Bible will be something she refers to and learns from for many years to come.

I really love this Bible. It’s so pretty and small! I didn’t want a huge Bible so this one works perfectly. I also love the commentary. The only thing is the pages are super thin and sometimes I worry about ripping them, but that’s it!

This Bible is really beautiful, and my teen absolutely loves it. The study notes have been incredibly helpful for her, and she’s been carrying it to church every week. She grew up using the NIV1984, but the shift to this translation has been pretty seamless for her. The readability is great, and it’s been such a joy to see her grow in knowledge and understanding through using this.

This Bible is like a text book. Every verse is explained in the footnotes. So great for beginners and Bible study. Really helped me get deeper in my Bible study. I plan on buying another once this one is all marked up so I can start all over. I like it better than my journaling Bible that has space on the sides. I use sticky notes to annotate when needed instead. I like to be able to read the explanation in the study Bible instead of having space for notes.

We like the ESV Bible, and that’s what our kids use in confirmation/catechism class. My daughter misplaced the Bible the church gave her a few years ago that is ESV, so I bought this for her. It is sturdy, but not too heavy; it is cute, but not overdone; it is simple, but has some cool notes and a few graphic organizers in it to help with some concepts. I think it is the perfect teen/young adult Bible. I actually would like it for myself if I needed one!
