Definitely real Shimano disk
Reading the reviews I have come to realize that people do not do their research when they make their purchase decisions. These disk are the real deal in fact the seller identifies them at 76s not the ice 86.the 76 and the 86(ice) are very similar in look . The 76 uses a stainless steel outer ring and the 86 uses a layered outer ring that is designed to dissipate heat a little better. The 76 is slightly heavier than the 86. There are advantages of each one.. the 76 is a bit tougher in holding its shape and easier to straighten if it becomes warped from let's say a impact on the trail . The 86 (ice) is easier to bend from a bump but it does and will distribute heat better because of the layering the down side is it will be a bit more difficult to straighten. So in short unless you are really aggressive and break happy or on the heavier side you may be over spending by upgrading to the 86 ice technology.I myself decided to purchase the 76 over the 86 saving a bit of cash from the wallet times two .In the end only you will know if you need to upgrade to the 86 over the 76. In the end the choice is yours.

Works Great _ Use a Torque Wrench!
Was super easy to install, very nice rotor. Just make sure to use a torgue wrench if you don't want to strip the bolt head when or if you ever have to uninstall this thing, doesn't take make much to tighten it, very nice rotor.

Not IceTech
No issue with the seller but these are not IceTech rotors. I mistakenly thought they were.

Fake Shimano?
I bought a new 203mm rotor to upgrade my rear 180mm. First thing I noticed when I opened the box was that this did not say "Ice Technologies" on the rotor arm like my front one did. Then I really started to look at the two. My existing front rotor says made in Japan, the rotor purchased from this seller says made in China. The rotor arms are different in style and the overall design of the rotor material is just different enough to make it look like it's a close match. Once I laid the two on top of each other you could clearly see the differences in how the holes are cut on braking surfaces. The rotor arms are a lot thicker from front to back on the Chinese unit and weighs about 30 to 35g more than the Japanese made Shimano part. Exercise caution when buying! When spending this kind of money you should get exactly what you think you are getting.
