Honey from the end of the world...
I was quite reluctant to purchase such an expensive honey, but it was highly recommended to me by my friend who owns prestigious restaurant in Connecticut. I have tried that with fine blue chesses, in a yogurt, oatmeal and even plain warm water with lemon. Well, it is much better than anything I had before, forget about processed honey which you can get over the counter in supermarkets. Even premium honey from Savannah Bee Company (Tupelo) is not as good, it is not even close. If you want real honey, raw honey from mother nature you must try it. Highly recommended!

This is the best honey I've had in decades, but it is a bit pricy.
Over the years, I’ve become used to the slow drop in the quality of honey that I have around me. I have taken to the farmer’s market and trying to find more local and small batch honeys in hopes of finding the best. I thought I was still getting good, top notch honey until I came across the Terra Andes honey. As soon as I tried it, it took me right back to when I was a kid and frequently had good honey. The Terra Andes plus raw honey with APF 200+ is just as dark in golden color as pictured on the product page. It is nice and thick with wonderful aromas. The flavors are also rich and deep just like the color. If you ask my what it tastes like, I’d say honey, pure and wonderful honey. It doesn’t taste like clover, alfalfa, raspberries, or any other crop or flavoring, just straight up genuine and delicious honey. When I was young and put honey in my sopapilla, it tasted exactly like this. There must be something with high altitude honeys coming from specific climates because the Terra Andes honey took me back to my childhood and all the wonderful food I had then.I would recommend this honey to anyone and everyone (unless for some reason you don’t like honey, really want to support your local community beekeeper, or just can’t see paying this price for honey). The price is relatively high compared to other honeys, but the quality is also higher that other honeys. I would use this honey for more than a topping and use it for all my cooking if it was more affordable, but I’ll just have to make do with adding it to biscuits, sopapillas, tea, fruit, etc. (that means no big batch of baklava). I'm only docking a star for this because of the price because everything else about it is easily five stars.

SMOOTH LIKE SPUN GOLD!
This is one of New fave Honeys! WOW TOP QUALITY!!! This mountain honey offes a extra smooth finish - soft to the palette, not tangy, not very sweet, its almost a ultra smooth champagne ~ esque taste....exquisite!! I LOVE IT! Its a unique flavor thats needs to be in every honey lovers kitchen! I also detect a smooth almost nutty finish....with forest notes ( not floraly). ITS AMAZING! I use it after a workout right off the spoon, in tea, coffee, on yogurt and fruit - It is Heavenly!

Small Quantity, Big Price Tag
I used to buy a larger container of this honey for nearly half of the price I paid on Amazon. When I ordered, I did not realize the container was smaller because the image is quite similar for the larger plastic jar. Also, the honey I received is cloudy; the former larger container had a clear honey in it. The flavor seems to be the same, so I am guessing the quality is OK.

Taste Foul, Broken seal, bad customer service.
Ordered two jars, first was not edible, not sure why as I've tried other honey from this company and it was good, but this jar tasted beyond gross. Second the seal was broken, and it got cross contaminated with the plastic liner. Horrible customer service.

Good Floral Taste, Thick & Grainy Texture, Can’t Say If Unique Like Manuka But Healthy Either Way
TERRA ANDES PLUS APF 100+ honey is raw, unfiltered, organic Chilean Patagonian honey. I’d describe the honey I received as an amber color, and the honey has a thick and grainy consistency instead of being syrupy, smooth or creamy. The texture is fine with me even eaten plain, and it dissolves quickly in my coffee or tea. This flavor of this honey is relatively mild but it has a good floral taste and aroma.TERRA ANDES compares Chilean Patagonian honey to Manuka honey in terms of having unique health benefits. I can’t really say if this honey has similar medicinal qualities as it seems less studied, or at least less information is readily available. I do see that the Universidad Católica de Chile has studied the honey and concludes it has natural “antibacterial power” and can be effective against E. coli, Staph and Salmonella. This TERRA ANDES honey has an APF value of 100+ and the APF Honey site says it’s supposed to “strengthen the immune system” and improve energy and antibody levels if eaten daily. A higher 200+ rating honey is supposed to fight infections, such as gastritis, ulcers and exposed wounds. While I can’t gauge the impact of this honey on my immune system or antibodies, I enjoy the flavor and consider honey a healthy food in moderation given that it’s nutrient and antioxidant rich. Like it. 4 stars.

Muy suave y deliciosa
Wooow! 100% recomendada

Dark, Rich, Delicious
The flavor was unlike anything I’ve tasted in the States. It was so much richer than I expected and the color is a beautiful dark amber. I love honey on buttered sourdough and this makes the perfect topping. I have clover honey, local honey (from our own hives!), and lavender honey. This beats them all. Will buy again!
