3M Littmann Cardiology IV Stethoscope Limited Edition, High Polish, Copper Chestpiece, 6180, Black Tube, 27 Inch

This was my first stethoscope that I actually owned and it did not disappoint. I was so set on getting the Black edition but I was not fond of the matte black so I looked into the smoke edition and wow. For reference, the metal pieces are gunmetal. I was not sure if the metal pieces would be black but with a glossy finish or more of a dark gray. It is like gunmetal, like a glossy dark gray. It is absolutely beautiful. Like a piece of jewelry for health care providers. For the acoustics: it is very clear. I don't know in comparison to the Master Cardiology or the Classic III but the acoustics are very clear and loud for me. The price for the stethoscope was the lowest price I have ever seen and I have been watching the prices like a hawk before and after Black Friday. There's no engravement option but that's okay. I am absolutely in love with it!

When I bought this, there weren’t a whole lot of reviews from paramedics so I thought I’d do one. I bought it as a new medic because quite frankly, the company-provided ones are trash. Throughout medic school the one thing I struggled with was respiratory and more importantly differentiating subtle lung sounds.Once I got this and started using it in the field, I was amazed. I wasn’t just grossly incompetent after all! Apparently I had just been using really crappy stethoscopes up until then because now I could actually hear real lung sounds and it made a huge difference in my field impressions and ultimately my treatment plans for my patients. It made me so much more confident as a provider.I’ve carried it every day at work for a while now and even as a senior medic, it still sounds amazing. Definitely would recommend, especially for new medics that struggle to hear lung sounds.

I’m a registered nurse. I work in the ICU. I have tried other cardio stethoscopes. I own the ADC brand which is a good serviceable stethoscope. I also own the Littman cardio master very good stethoscope and was my go to device for a while. I wanted and did try an electric stethoscope, I feel they are overrated at this point ( price point vs technology). I read the reviews and thought I would give it a shot. Let me say this is by far the best stethoscope I have put into my ears. Not even close & instantly impressed. Whatever you're trying to hear you will hear it and hear it clearly. This one is a no brainer folks.

My 20$ stethoscope that was included with my EMT class broke and I needed a new one. After speaking with a few people within the field they all recommended the investment of a good Littman stethoscope. I did some research and although the Cardiology IV was more expensive and heavier than the classic, it was rated better for sound quality especially in loud environments (like the ER or the back of the ambulance).I couldn’t believe the sound difference. The acoustics are so much better. Both more clear and louder.If you use one for a profession especially with loud external noises, I highly recommend the cardiology IV.For regular nurses (non ER) or quiet doctoral offices I’d save the 100 and go with the classic iii.I also chose this electric blue color to stand out because nice stethoscopes often grow legs or get lost on scene especially if black. The smoke finished diaphragm and ears look much classier IMO and don’t show as many fingerprints. This color really pops and others won’t be mistaking theirs for mine.Well worth the sound investment. You have to hear them to believe it. Ask a coworker if you can try there’s if you have a chance.

I’ve had this for a few years now and I love it. Hearing quality is great, though in a moving ambulance it will always be difficult to listen. Would buy again.

I am so shocked and I know how many people might think this is a fake review because of how good it is. THEY ARE AMAZINGGGG!! I originally thought I was getting a fake pair of littman and I was scared because of the price point. But I was not disappointed. I verified if it was a real on by going to littman websight and placing the serial number it sounds so crazy how clear the quality is. I am extremely happy and will definitely buy from them again for my mom and sister. Thank you for a true and amazing product.

No problem whatsoever with the product itself, but it was NOT properly prepared for shipping. It arrived in its manufacturer's package with no additional boxing. The lid was not even taped on, so I don't know how it managed to arrive with all its parts still inside. You could tell it had never been taped.

Littman delivers as always. Looks and works great. I bought it as a gift for my paramedic boyfriend and he can hear heart and lung sounds through clothes which is very useful when you’re outside on the scene. I’ve had older version III for a few years now and not quite ready to upgrade since they last a long time.hipefully this one will as well.
