I bought this for grandson brothers who were ages 7 & 2 years of age at the time. It is useful for both age levels of play and learning.

Multipurpose
Great toy and can be used for multi purposes. My son is special needs so not only do I use it for him to match the letters into the correct spot on the board. I also put the pieces in front of him and have him hand me the correct piece that I ask for. He has not yet used the magnetic piece to it, but that is not an issue.

My grandson love this game. Every time he comes over he want to go fishing. He's learned his colors, his numbers, and how to make shapes fit back into the square square part that it fit. I would highly recommend it to anybody.
