Works well at a good enough price.Guys, you gotta soak it before use! I usually throw it in some PH balanced (6-7ish) water for at least an hour if not overnight. Don't wring it out or squish it either. Gently shake the water out before moving to your sprout tray or whatever.^ If you skip this step your seeds are gonna have a bad time.

I didn't know what to expect since this was the first time I had ever ordered rockwool from any company. I was pleasantly surprised! The cubes were packaged in a very sturdy cardboard box, which was not damaged during shipping, so that meant that none of the cubes were squished were crushed. There are four sheets of 50 cubes and each cube has an indent at the top for seedlings or cuttings. Each cube is approximately 3/4 of an inch wide and 1.5 in tall. They seem to retain moisture well and have been constructed in a sturdy fashion. I have no concerns about using these for any of my gardening needs.

These are great little cubes for starting seeds, easy to cut apart and use. Minimal effort needed to use this product! Just soak in nutrient water, put in seed and place in seed starting tray! Nice and simple!

These cubes do not separate without falling apart, I ended up cutting them apart with a razor blade and was able to salvage about half of them.They drop a lot of dust and fibers.Buy a different brand.

Yes, these are smaller than the cubes I'm used to using, but I like them. As a classroom project, I dropped seedlings (with roots growing through the cubes) into K-cups (cleaned out coffee pods) with a hole I cut in the bottom. The K-cups then fit in a hole I cut in 16 ounce water bottles. In short, these cubes work just as well as the larger ones.

I liked that it was shipped in a thick cardboard box to protect it from being crushed. I use the rockwool cubes to start veggy seeds.
