Nope. Hardly understand a word of Japanese. Got these because they looked fun, which I imagine they are if you are attempting to learn Japanese. They are well made and presented, with selections of words with pronunciations underneath. We played as well as we could a few times over Christmas - we would like to visit Japan once the Covid crisis is over - and these cards began to give us some confidence that we might learn enough so we didn't look totally stupid. Instructions were complex to our eyes, so I'm not sure we played it right, but if you are used this kind of thing I'm sure it's easy.

So many cards with different things written on them! Anything from animals buildings food weather the list goes on it’s a fun and easy way to learn such a difficult language definitely recommend theses!

was a bit harder than I expected, but was a little game to play with kids and learnt new things.
