I got a laser cutting machine which has a 3-inch hose connector. It came with a short hose and I needed a longer one, but in my country I could only find 4-inch hoses. I decided to pick this one up and I'm very pleased with it, as it fits on the 3-inch host connector in my laser machine very well. It is also well made, unlike traditional dryer hoses which have a very thin layer of material around the actual string that makes the hose, which tend to tear by the tension of the inner string.

Used this as ducting from a diesel heater to a rooftop tent, it definitely serves the purpose, outside of the tube doesn’t get too hot to melt anything and the air coming through stays at a warm temperature (depending on how long of a run you’re pushing it) only negative thing is the plastic outer liner is prone to peeling at both ends of the tube.

Before I bought , I asked the seller if it would work on a chinese diesel car parking heater, the reply was YES. So I bought it and the seller was right . I ran my heater on high 5.1hrtz for almost 2 hours and no problems. I will not be using the full length but only about 6' of it so very satisfied . I made a little video of it running Only prblem I had was when I turned the heater to low 2.5hrtz and after 8-10 min. got error 05 which is overheat and the unit shut it self down, I then realized the low fan speed is not fast enough so I set it at 1600 and works flawlessly.

I replaced a propane furnace in my RV with a deisel heater and purchased this ducting. I needed to go from 4" to 3". The description said the ducts could be used for heating HVAC use up to 266°F. Read the comments and saw others have used this product for their deisel heaters. Everything looked promising. Upon unboxing the item, I noticed the walls were pretty thin. It didn't take much to tear a hole in the ducting. Against my first impression and better judgment, I installed them anyway. After 3 or 4 times of using the heat, I noticed an odd smell. Sections of the outside of the ducts began to melt. I tested my deisel heater with my thermometer. It never got over 230°F. I ended up throwing these ducts out and using the 4" ducts that came with my RV. They haven't melted... so there is that. Maybe I just got a bad batch. Who knows? I'm just sharing my experience and it wasn't good.
