4 stars, given. The jack replacement was worth the money, be cautious with the plastic wheel, as ended up replacing it with a solid wheel about 2 weeks later. (plastic wheel broke into pieces while moving empty boat trailer)

I used this for my trailer gate and it works great.

The media could not be loaded. Only reason I'm not sending this garbage back is that I need to use the trailer right away. The acme nut on the 30 year old jack stripped. I wish I could have found a replacement part, because the old unit was way better made.The tolerances between the mount and the jack and between the two jack tubes are way too loose. It wobbles and flops. It will need to be strapped with a bungee to keep from rattling on the road.The locking pin barely has enough engagement. I would not be surprised if it fails to stay locked, if the trailer gets bumped hard.The crank handle hits the locking pin when you are cranking it up and down.It seems like it is made of good heavy materials, but poorly designed and manufactured.Hardware is as expected at tis price point.

Works exactly like it should. No issues at all. It was easy to install on the tongue of my trailer. All the parts arrived as they should, and it's fairly lightweight.

Locking spring pin on the jack that I received is too short to safely stay locked while rolling the trailer around! Luckily I was in the grass when it collapsed and I fell out of the way and did not get hurt. I disassembled the pin and ground a groove so the pin can go in 1/4" deeper and it is safe now.
