Nailtiques Oil Therapy, 0.5 Ounce

This stuff is ridiculous. My nails are effed up like you wouldn't believe from acrylics. I wanted to give me nails a breather so I took off my acrylics and my nails were peeling, cracked, beyond weak, bruised, you name it. I am upset with myself for not taking before pics so I could include them in this review. (ETA I do have a before picture of just my thumb, so I will update with before and after pics of that nail).I have been using this oil on my nails for three days, twice a day. The peeling and bruising is gone. It's almost unbelievable. I can't say this has made my nails stronger, I don't think that's necessarily what this is for, but I did order the nail strengthener in this same brand which should be coming today, I'm hoping that will help grow them.If your nails are badly damaged, definitely give this a try. I am speechless at the results.

I have used many oils on my nails and cuticles,and even mixed my own oils, but this is the one I like the best. Coupled with the Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus and the Nailtiques non-acetone remover, I can definitely see an improvement in my nails. I started using these products mid-October (2013) and it is one month later and my nails and cuticles are much improved. Plus i love the fragrance of this product. I generally have weak, brittle nails and can never grow them beyond the end of my fingers in spite of always wearing gloves when i do dishes or do housecleaning. But for the first time they are peeking over the end of my fingers and seem stronger. I am also taking Biotin and gelatin at the recommendation of my doctor, but the results of that will take about 6 months when the nail totally grows out.

My husband is a professional fisherman and his feet are always getting wet-dry-wet-dry. After concluding that it was not fungus making his big toenails crack (vertically, along the ridges), I decided he should try Nailtiques Oil Thearpy (good reviews). You have to use it everyday, preferably 2x/day. He applies it 1-2x/day. It works! One toenail is completely healed of the cracks and the other is getting much better, though he started applying a protective clear coat to the really bad one. I told him it's not gay if you only paint one toenail LOL!

Part of the overall Nailtiques system, this oil has a lot of different uses. I use it as the last step in my daily nail care routine to seal in the treatments and keep my cuticles smooth and moisturized. I've even used it on rough patches on my elbows with good results.I have also used this as the final step in a manicure. Since my top coat dries to a touchable finish in seconds, I use this mainly to treat my cuticles after using pure acetone to clean up my polishing mistakes.This oil is very rich in feel and the scent is very nice. It does seem to absorb quickly and leaves only a bit of slickness behind.Even if you don't want to use the protein, this oil would be a good addition to anyone's nail care arsenal.

Nailtiques Oil Therapy keeps my cuticles and the skin around the nails soft with one application per day and I'm a frequent hand washer. Winter months make the skin around my nails dry and I have a tendency to pick at them. This oil keeps the skin from drying out and cracking which stops the nail picking. Good product.

I've used the Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus. It helped a lot. I thought this looked interesting, and might help my cuticles as well. But really, I don't know how helpful this really is. It doesn't seem like a product that you can use during the day. When you wash your hands, you are just washing it off. So I try using it at night. But then I don't really see much improvement, because I'm not using anything on my nails during the day. So if I put the Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus on, then how can this penetrate and help my nails at night? I don't think it can. So then is it just a cuticle treatment at that point? All in all, I just don't find it to be that helpful or effective of a product, and I won't buy it again. I'll stick with their other products that are meant to stay on.

It was pretty obvious that my fingernails were damaged from regular exposure to household chemicals & the daily trauma associated w/our small poultry-operation, & that the solution would have to include reducing the amount of that exposure to nail-care chemicals as well as work-related chemicals & trauma. Toward that goal, this product has become a key component in my home nail-care routine. Eight weeks into using this oil therapy - along with Nailtiques protein coatings - I now have a little bit of healthy nail beyond my fingertips again.

It is a true oil. Doesn’t dry on your nails so not a base under the nail polish.Just got it so cannot tell what is the quality yet.
