The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Official Cookbook & Entertaining Guide

I bought this book for a friend who loves The Nightmare Before Christmas. She loved the book the minute she unwrapped it, perfect condition, beautiful illustrations, and lots of yummy looking recipes and great craft ideas.

This is a nice solid book with great recipes. I bought is as a gift for a family member and may need to get one for myself as well.

It is a gift for my daughter and she loves it! It is so beautiful and has many great ideas! It’s a treasure. She had me write something to her on one of the pages. This will be passed along to her kids one day!

I threw a Halloween party, and not only were the recipes I used on point (mummy tartlets and mummy dogs), but it also gave me great ideas for other food and party activities (everyone making pizzas together using pepperoni to make scary faces, cakes shaped like brains). Each recipe has a difficulty rating (Easy, Medium, Hard) and that gives good advisement on how kid-friendly a recipe may be or how much work it requires. Most recipes also have a big beautiful picture to help guide decoration, which personally I found very helpful.They have a wide variety of difficulty levels to appeal to kids and adults, which I appreciate. I will say, however, that the recipes tend to err on the blander side if you follow them to the letter, which personally I don't mind because it invites me to customize the seasoning. (I recommend adding a dash of honey to the butternut squash mash in the mummy tartlets, and be generous with your salt and goat cheese.) Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and some of the recipes are definitely going into my general rotation.

I bought this for my mom because she lives nightmare before Christmas and this is good for any fan or for holidays!!

Gift for my daughter.

I purchased this book for my daughter who is a big huge Tim Burton fan and she absolutely loves this cookbook. It has everything in it from appetizers to entrées.

I bought this for my adult daughter because she has shown interest in learning how to make neat desserts and sell them through social media sites locally. I thought this would give her some great ideas and maybe by next Christmas or Halloween she will be ready to go with some Nightmare Before Christmas treats! It was fun just looking at the ideas through the book. I thought they would all be desserts but they weren't!

A friend of mine is obsessed with Nightmare Before Christmas and is also a total foodie - this was so great as a gift, really high quality pages and cover, and a wide variety of foods and crafts, all organized and rated for difficulty. Good stuff!

I purchased this book because I love the movie, so I thought it would be a great buy. It was perfect: it had really cool recipes AND there is a separate section for parties, where it gives you games to play, invites, a menu, what to decorate with. I was worried as I didn’t know how to get the decor, BUT they are printable, for free (so are the invites)! These are on a website which you are given the link to. Those decorations you can’t print have instructions which are easy to follow. I loved this book, and it’s perfect for if you want to have a themed night around the movie!

My partner really likes the book and the apron. Be aware the measurements can be a little confusing to whether it's US or English measurements for tablespoons etc.
