BrooksMen's Addiction Walker 2 Walking Shoe

I have been a waitress for over 30 years. When I started to have back problems, finding an excellent shoe for work wasn’t easy. The older you get, the more you are willing to spend. After my first spinal surgery, I had to get serious with the shoes. When I discovered these on Amazon, I was over the moon. The shoes you need to perform a job like mine need to be1. Slip resistant2. Solid black if you work at a higher level3. Comfortable, it’s hard to tell when just trying on4. Arch support, but hard to find with all the above requirements5. Can handle wear and tear.6. I’m not going to say washable, because I wipe mine with a wet cloth when needed.I am female, so I had to buy a men’s 2 sizes smaller. The fit was perfect. I wore them to work the day they arrived. OMGosh. I was floating around the restaurant. These shoes are so comfortable and do not need to be broken in. I was very worried about how slip resistant they would be, these shoes are not made for servers. I didn’t have one slip. My coworkers started asking me (that same night) about my shoes. When I told them they were Brooks they didn’t believe me or thought I had lost my mind. Any server with a bad back has tried to find solid black Brooks that were slip resistant and not $200. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Good bye Sketchers hello Brooks. I’m never going back.

Was a good purchase for me as these shoes fit very well and are comfortable. Very good quality.

I’m a letter carrier for the USPS, I walk about 15,000 - 19,000 steps a day and roughly 11 miles a day . I been through a lot of black leather no slip shoes. Brooks are by far the best and are very comfortable..

If it lasts a few years, I'd say it's worth the price.Fit: I usually get an 8.5 wide. But this 9 Fits fine.Arch support: I think its cushion gives great arch support.I'll probably get another but I'll wait for a sale... Hopefully

Probably still the best walking shoe you can find, but definitely worse than the original version. Design changed, not as supportive, 2E toe box wider, toe not as comfortable, weaker gripping. Still very good shoe, but the original is simply great, almost perfect.

I have another pair of the addiction walker in white I have had for a few years. They are still good, but looking a little tough. I am hard on shoes and wear them everyday. These shoes are the best I have had.

Finde die Schuhe passen sehr gut und sind bequem. Im Sommer vielleicht etwas zu warm aber im normalen Winter sehr schön. Auf Eis etwas rutschig, aber die sind ja nicht als Winterschuhe verkauft wurden.

I wear these all the time, at work and on long walks. I have flat feet so I found it hard to find shoes that support me. Well, I finally found them! I wear these all the time at work, and I had them on for a whole day of walking in London (about 15km), and my feet never hurt. Highly recommended!
