Savage GearSquad Casting Swimbait Rod

I got the XH. This rod took a 5 foot alligator gar. Besides that, its a work of art. Beautiful rod. Paired it with an Okuma Komodo 463.

Throws large swim baits with authority, and able to withstand a bit of abuse. Paired the rod with both a lews 300 and avet 5.3 for slinging mullet from the beach. Light rod for an 8ft, and the bottom grip is larger for controlling casts. Very Hard to beat for the price, quality blank and quality guides. Reel seat is plastic but flex isn’t much of an issue. Definitely my new go to for larger baits and throwing big spoons, jigs and live baits from the surf.
