This shofar is beautiful and has an awesome tone right out of the bag. It does have an odor but I was expecting that because it did come from a living animal! There was an ‘odor’ spray included and I will be applying it. All in all, I am very satisfied with my shofar!

I bought a a gift and had to do a lot of research on it. It came fast and wrapped well. It was a very pretty wel made authentic shofar. Sound a great. It is not the deeper sounding shofar but still a great sound.

I’ve bought several shofarot on my trips to Israel. But given them away. I really wanted one for the upcoming feasts. I feel the quality is good and the polish is excellent, and very easy to blow. Good sound! Very pleased. Packaged well. Shofar was not damaged in any way. Yes shofar smell. That’s just part of it! The oil helps a bit but a shofar is going to smell! It should! For those who need to know. I will order again if I can’t make it to Israel soon!

Very thin walls. In one place, you can almost see a hole. If that happens, it certainly won't be playable. Smell is also very, very strong.

I'm new to blowing a shofar and learned that this size is much easier than the smaller ram's horn. While I can get some sound from a smaller horn, this one is by far easier to learn! The horn is beautiful and the mouth area is even beveled out a bit which makes this an easy horn to learn on. While I'd love to support my local Judaica shop, and I will with a larger horn or other items, this is an amazing price for my first shofar!
