It took me a while to pick out a charger for my jeep. When I first got it, I didn’t think the buttons on the side worked to open the sides of the charger to insert the phone. They do -,you just have to have it plugged in and they work automatically when you hit the button. Great feature! The button takes a little getting used to on the side of the phone, but works great. The phone charger also has good grip. My dashboard on my jeep is slightly textured, but the section cup on the stand seems to be adhering well. I wish that the phone dropped down lower from my dashboard. The arm on the charger is adjustable. It just doesn’t go down as low as I would like. All in all a very good product so far. I just put it on yesterday. It was also very easy to set up.

There are no flat surfaces on the dashboard of my car so it took some tinkering to find the right spot. It fell off with my phone in it twice before I found that spot. I also got smart enough to let it sit for a day before I put my phone in it. It rattles when there is nothing in it, but the arm and suction cup are doing well now and seem sturdy enough. The mechanism that clamps and unclamps on the phone is very spotty. If I forget to open it before I turn the car off I have to turn it back on to open the clamps. Sometimes they open and close properly, more often than not though, it’s a wrestling match. It is absolutely NOT fast charging. The charger has worked every time but after having my four day old iPhone 16 on it for an hour while driving it had charged 7%. That’s ridiculous. The cord is more than long enough for my Kia Soul, and I can’t imagine it being a problem for too many vehicles. I travel locally every day for my job so I wanted something like this, and I’ll keep this one for now, but I don’t know that I would want this for a very long time. It’s ok, but certainly not great.

This is my 3rd from this brand. I have one in my personal car that is going on 3 years of commuter use. The second one I had did a solid 3 years of 2-3 full days of drive around sales uses. It would release and take my phone 5-10 times per day. Fast charged like a dream. The only reason I replaced it was that it was really slowing down when opening and closing even while the car was running. But it served me well. It was black and Grey in color.I decided to try the red model. It does not fast charge and the open and close are much slower than what I was used to with the other ones. It is still the best phone holder I have ever found for a car.
