Genuine Volvo Cargo Protection liner XC90 2016-up

We have a 2018 xc90 and a couple dogs. They tend to make a mess of things, so I purchased and installed this before 1,000 mile road-trip. It worked well! It does recquire installing small snaps into the interior using a screwdriver - but this IS a volvo product, so it is pretty minimally noticeable. I think the overall protection is worth the trade-off. We've had tons of gear and wet dogs in the car and cleanup was very straight-forward. It also has a nice extension you can flip over the rear bumper for loading and unloading. Very easy to snap/unsnap to manage various seating/interior configurations and DOES work with the interior cargo cage/net.

Yes. You do have to screw the snaps into your brand new car. And I hesitated. But I did it, and LOVE it. The snaps are in your cargo area, not your people area (except for a couple when using the third row), and frankly they blend in so well you don't even notice. That said, I haven't removed the cover once (you would only need to take out if using the third row of seats). Fits well, and protects when you put have one or two rows of seats down. I've used it for hauling 2 dogs, barbecue smoker, and Christmas trees and it protected the car. It has rubberized material and just wipes out.

The mfg fails to mention that installation requires putting mating screws for it's snaps through the liner of the Volvo. The cut and design of the liner is good, but it should be noted that installation requires putting holes in your Volvo. I'm sending this back as I have no intention of putting multiple holes through my cargo area.

This is an expensive cargo liner but it does fit the cargo area perfectly. It is a bit tricky to install.
