Replacement for
This was a replacement for one that fell apart due to sun exposure. Very easy replacement.

Very nice. No more critters.
The style I vet nice, and it will keep any birds or other critters from getting into it. My old one had flaps and the flapped piece would come off after something would try to crawl through, which left the vent wide open to anything that wanted to come in to my dryer. (Yikes!). This style won't do that. Pretty darned secure. And it looks a whole lot nicer.

Ok product
This is exactly 6” so you’ll need a duct opening slightly smaller or larger to fit

Broke down n 3 months
Cheap plastic. The flap that opens and closes is hard to keep in place when mounting and the small tabs broke off in 3 months jamming the lint filter causing lint backup and blowing the insert off of the house. Fire hazard and non functional. These people should be ashamed and banned from Amazon

Faulty flap
The flap could be better. Its kinda pinched in-between the frame and the hood. Its not really fixed in place. If you manage to get lucky and get it back together it seems to work as intended.

Very cheap looking and vent escape wouldn’t open right. It would get stuck!! No good!!!
