The flavor is really good. We have a local Kava bar that is just too expensive. So it was nice to find an easy option for the house. You mix 1 tsp with 1.25 cups of water. I add the kava to a mug and then make an empty hot water measuring cup in my Keurig. Then I slowly pour the water and stir, until I reach the 1.25 cups of water. I then add lavendar and white chocolate syrups from our local cash and carry, as well as some half and half. This was wonderful!The only downside is that when they ship, they stick the shipping lable overtop of the directions. It is not shipped in an envelope or anything. Just the packet with the shipping sticker. I am not sure how safe I feel about that, as well as it covered the directions. This is why I added the directions in my review. I came back here to see the photos for the directions. Seller: Please ship in a padded envelope to avoid some of these issues.

Seems to be a more Heavy Fijian kava. Muscles were relaxed and was ready for sleep in about 30 minutes. Not as restful a sleep as one of the Heady kava's on Amazon, but still a good one for just going to sleep or lounging out.

I've bought a lot of bunk kava over the years, everything from suspiciously cheap supplements from Walmart that were completely ineffective, to fancy small packages of kava that were okay but not worth the price. This stuff is great, every bit as good as the "higher rated alternative" and about 1/4 the price. I wish i could get my money back for that "higher rated alternative" but at least I've found a solid go-to.

Only thing really good was that but was instant so I didn't have to do a bunch of things to prepare it. However since I wanted it for pain and anxiety I didn't feel that it was working much. An aspirin/tylenol does more than this did. Which is dad cause I certainly was hoping to be successful with finding something to replace harmful meds and over the counter analgesics....

I tried this brand and was pleasantly surprised. I usually buy another brand of kava. It’s super easy to make. Just scoop your kava into water or juice and stir. I like the taste, and the numbness on the tongue.This does what it’s supposed to do.

Bought to travel with cuz I didn't want to take all of my kava gear, and was really pleased with the subtle relaxation flavor and texture no roll experience with this. Will definitely use this in that circumstance again.

I've tried this on different occasions as well as follow the guidelines on a kava website on how to consume, after taking roughly 30g in one sitting and feeling absolutely nothing, I thought reverse tolerance. So over the past couple of weeks I've taken it here and there and nothing. I just took a 15g dose 30 min ago on ab empty stomach and nothing, that should've been an effecatious dose but nothing. I'm assuming it's not a premium product but just some left over stuff.

This is the 2nd time I tried this, I fell for the next day delivery, which ironically didn’t happen, and thought it would be a decent mid grade, but it was not even as good as last time. It may be alright for someone mostly concerned with not having a strong taste, but the effects are definitely lacking, experienced users will be disappointed. I feel like I threw money away on this product and almost never leave negative reviews, but I don’t even know if I will finish the bag.
