i have purchased a couple of these units and they all have come with a calibration certificate.

Hello, While it is possible to use the unit while it is charging, it is not recommended as it may decrease the life of the battery.

Sniffs out the bad stuff

Bought these for work, to perform work in confined spaces. So far, they work perfect. We have them tested and calibrated often, and always hope that it will never have to go off, but it is nice knowing that something is keeping an eye out for ya.

Not as happy as I should have been.

This meter that was "like new" needed a H2S sensor before I could put this into service. Cost of purchase - $550.00, cost to replace the sensor - $ 140.00 This unit was only 8 months out of factory calibration. Not as happy as I should be with this purchase. Unit looks new and was delivered a bit late. Now my cost is about what the cost of new with a warranty :(
