I recently learned to replace batteries in watches, and couldn't find any place locally that sold them so was thrilled when I found them on Amazon. They last a long time, and it was very easy to install them in a variety of watches, fitting perfectly and absolutely doing what needed to be done. Very functional, very cost-effective.

These are silver oxide watch batteries -- or at least they are marked that way. Who really knows? For watches, silver oxide is the go-to type of battery as their discharge is long and even. A lot of vendors are fakers using the words "silver oxide" somewhere in their ad copy when the batteries aren't that type. Beware. I have used a couple of these batteries with watches and so far they have worked as expected. Buying a bunch at once is a good savings, and of course, replacing your watch batteries yourself rather than going to a jeweler, is an even bigger savings -- probably greater than the entire cost of these 10 batteries. It's also nice to have extras on hand so you don't have to scramble to find new ones when they die and your watch isn't out of commission. I don't know what value to attach to the Maxell trademark these days. It used to be clearly premium. But it might still mean something. It's certainly better than XXZZY brand.

Couldn't find a multi pack at this price locally, so this was a no brainer.

The product is great, have ordered before but the package came with postage of $ .40 due. I can pay the$ .40, that's not the point, but when advertised as "Free Shipping", I was not expecting to have to make a trip to the post office to get my package out of hock. I will order again, but if you were not aware that your scale may not be weighing correctly thought I would let you know. Thank you.

Thought I was getting 5 Maxell batteries for a great price - misread and got 2 packs of 5 batteries "HERE DEAL". BTW happy wife - batteries were for several watches she has.
