37 years singing. This little portable PA system has the power to hold it's own "reasonable well" even in large auditorium like a church. Good clear sound for vocals and music even when the volume is turned up because the speaker does not distort - sounds clear and full. Not remarkable for bass but sound comes across balanced not tinny in my opinion. Wireless mics work and transmits voice crisp and clear without distortion. Bluetooth syncs the first time automatically every time the unit it is turned on. That is a plus. SD card and USB works right too the first time. All the button functions on the unit actually work with the remote too. That is a plus - plus - plus! I play my viola to the SD card and that sounds great. Well, it works for me and that is what is important! If you are looking for a hassle free portable PA equipment you may want to consider this unit. For the price the quality and design is nicely balanced - a perfect companion if you do not want to set up your fancy audio equipment for smaller gigs.

Bought one and then a second one, everything works perfectly. I didn't connect mics to specific units so they could simply be used with either unit in case one ever goes out or batteries run out on one mic. Used these for presentations and karaoke. One unit probably would have done the job but pointing two in different directions seems to help.

Did not make it through a three hour event!!!Mics are defective. I’ve got a return this product and maybe things can be different. During my gathering it kept shorting out!! It kept going back-and-forth between the Bluetooth announcement. It was absolutely disappointing!!!! I used it at a hotel for a speaking event. Small group of people room of 48. Two be a little + eight accommodate at the room the volume was very pleasing. Everything else was a bust. We finally unplugged and just put it to the side.

We purchased this as it had great reviews after searching many other offerings. Upon reciept of the unit one of the microphones was DOA. Hotec's customer support was very responsive and had us a new one in a matter of days. Our first use was this past Sunday at a Motorcycle Rally for Parental Alienation. The unit produced a loud and crisp sound for all of our speakers and everyone could here even with the traffic in the background. Lots of great features and excellent customer support. Fits in the saddlebag of my bike. Well worth the $$$.

It worked well for about 6 months.I teach exercise classes and it was great for the pool and gym.Now it dies after about 10mins of usage.Unfortunate since it seemed like a good deal for the first 6 months.

I'm getting excellent sound quality using this product. It is easy to use as I can move around easily and stand quite a distance away from it. I've used it with large crowds and they were all able to easily hear what I was saying.

This product has no way to control treble or bass levels. Given that it is for the human voice and human hearing, there should be a mid-acoustic spectrum control particularly, plus as mentioned, a treble and a bass control. The sound is bass heavy and it booms. It makes speech unclear. You can control the microphone volume and the overall volume; that’s it, that’s all.On the plus side, the microphones are comfortable to hold and connect without any adjustment as soon as you put batteries in them (2x AA - very easy to insert). The machine charges from one of your existing USB A adapter/chargers that you use to charge up your mobile phone or tablet. Sadly, it does not use USB-C and the cord it comes with is fairly short. I couldn’t get USB-B or Apple’s Lightning cables to fit either. It works straight out of the box when you put batteries in the microphones. Also, the machine is fairly light and is compact, so it’s highly portable.This machine allows you to add reverb, which really makes speech unintelligible, but which could be an asset for those less-skilled among Karaoke singers. Those who are in the more highly skilled Karaoke singers, this is not the right machine for you, nor is it for those wanting to use it for speech.I have to replace this with a machine that is actually useful to me, which this one is not. This has to happen very soon, after a few test runs of this device. Thus, buying a product that is useless to me earns a one star rating. (Apologies to Hotec!)
