As a complete planner addict I was looking for a cheaper but quality alternative to the Midori Travellers notebook and I think I have found it at last!The item comes well presented in a box which has the company name on it and the notebook itself is protected by a plastic pouch inside. The Wanderings travellers notebook itself is superb quality leather and the texture of it gives it that vintage feel. The type of leather means it will easily pick up scuffs and scratches but this just adds to the character of the piece. The front cover is embossed with a compass logo which is a nice touch.The elastic is good quality, there is one elastic inside to attach a notebook and one closure band that holds the notebook closed, the closing band also has metal stoppers inside to prevent the elastic slipping through the hole punched in the leather. The closure band is mounted on the spine rather than on the back cover like the Midori.The leather edges don't appear to be sealed so a little fraying may occur but I personally don't mind this. The notebook does not have inside pockets but I use stick on transparent pockets and these stick to the inside leather fine as it is not as smooth as the outside.I selected the option for lined inserts (it came with 3 booklets) and these are also very good quality, the paper is thin but does not bleed through with gel pens however I don't use fountain pens so cant say how the paper will respond to wet inks. The company also includes a spare elastic band that you can use to attach more inserts if required. I have 4 inserts in mine and these fit fine, if you were to add a 5th there tends to be a little overhang as the middle insert will stick out.Overall I am incredibly pleased with this product and I think it is excellent value for money compared to the Midori brand which is nearly double the price. If you are looking for a cheaper but quality alternative to the Midori travellers notebook then this is definitely it.

This is beautiful. It came in a box and inside it had brown paper protecting the notebooks and inside covers, and then brown paper protecting the outside of the journal. The leather is nice and thick, and is certain to stand the test of time. The leather is natural and will patina as it is used, and this means it gets even better with age. The sacred directions stamp is perfectly placed and is imprinted firmly enough that it won’t revert to flat leather. The elastics used are strong and sturdy enough to hold the notebooks in but not so tight it causes them to buckle. I really like the piece of leather on the closing elastic, to protect the edges of the cover; this is a nice touch that not all journals offer. I can highly recommend this journal without any hesitation. Happy travelling.

I like this journal a lot , a specially for the price paid which was reduced with lightening deal. It has great colour and looks fantastic with three inserts inside. Leather however is a little thinner than some other competitors on amazon which also offer their notebooks with additional pocket and card insert. Anyhow I love this journal and if you don’t plan to invest ££ in pockets etc than this is wonderful traveller style notebook. if you plan however to spend on some extra pockets than there are some other traveller’s style notebooks offered on amazon of equal quality and better value for money.

A lovely leather bound journal. I haven't had the need to replace the booklets yet but it looks pretty straightforward to change them. The Leather is of good quality and does not smell which is very important to me. The beige colored paper inside is lovely and thick and I can write on both sides of the paper without the ink bleeding through.Highly recommend this journal.

Love it, got this for a trip to NY great quality and feel, my daughter has done front cover note for our trip, I'm going to use it to plan our trip and make notes.

Im very happy with my notebook, it arrived quickly, was well packaged and just looks and feels stunning. I bought it as a notebook to use in a D&D campaign i am going to be running, the look of the book fits the theme perfectly and the way the refils work means i can keep notes on different sections of the campaign seperate and organised. I dont tend to write reviews like this but i thought this deserved it would definitely buy another if only i needed one.

I bought this as a leaving present for my partner and I’m very pleased with it! I did make the mistake or not checking if I clicked the blank pages or the lined pages before I ordered and ended up getting the one I didn’t want, but that’s my fault! I’m still extremely please with this product and I was pleasantly surprised by the leather! it’s amazingly soft! Thankyou!

The notebooks were used as corporate gifts and will be definitely bought again for the next occassion.The quality is very good, the leather smells like leather (and not like cheap plastic compared to other "leather" notebooks from the same price range), notebook is nice to hold in hands - overall, it leaves a good impression and contributes to a better relationship with your business partners :)
