During the rest of the year, I usually switch to Medium Ash Brown. I’ve found that leaving the color on for an extra five minutes really helps it take better and last longer.

Have been using Preference 7.5A Medium Ash Blonde for years but it got darker so I changed to another brand new product but they discontinued it. Went back to Preference but it looked different, lighter & reviews were not as good. Just tried it and I'm very happy with the lighter color but still not covering all my resistant gray on my very short nape & sideburns Pixie cut, even with adding 1 No Gray. I'll try 2 No Gray next time & leave it on 5 mins longer. Careful it's very runny which is messy. No itching though! Smells the same not bad though. But I still trust it better than other brands!

I had BLACK box dye in my hair. Went to a salon and got my hair fried off with black and lost a foot of hair. Had them dye it brown and it turned ORANGE after washing it. I was distraught and didn’t trust the hairdresser after losing a foot of hair. So I decided to dye my hair myself yet again with box dye to get back to my natural color. I went with this medium ash brown to cancel out the orange. It looks PERFECT. My hair feels healthy after drying it. This is as close to my natural hair color as it’s been in 7 years. Will continue to do my hair myself from now on. 🙏🏼

As a joke I Venmo $1 To my hairdresser whenever I get a compliment about my hair between appointments . He cuts, I color, who really knows what the compliment is for color or cut?

I like the shade I bought, and the conditioner is the best I've found in boxed color for sure! I don't think it had the grey coverage I expected, I can still tell which strands were grey. They aren't grey anymore, but they are not as dark as the rest of my hair. I expect I will need to color again soon unfortunately. I'm a little bummed, I thought this brand was one of the best at penetrating resistant greys.
