Q: Does this deep conditioner contain any protein?

No, it does not. In fact TGIN as a brand doesn’t often use proteins in their products. The exception being their RX line that has protein in the name of the products, but even then they don’t use the more harsh proteins. I have type 3, low density, fine natural hair and have loved every TGIN product I have ever tried. This conditioner in particular saved my protein overloaded hair and brought it back to life after a few months of regular use. Don’t just slap it on your head and expect amazing results. Wrap your hair to contain heat and then apply moderate heat for at least 20 minutes, longer if you have time. Steaming is also very beneficial. I know this is a very old question but one that I didn’t feel deserved to be half answered because I know others are wondering the same.

Q: Does it detangle hair

It definitely does for me. I have type 4a/3c hair.

Q: Why is there Benzyl Alcohol in this mask?

Benzyl alcohol is used in products as an alternative to paraben preservatives. It does not have a drying affect at all, and should not impact the texture or feel of your hair.

Q: Why are there soo many alcohols?

Some “alcohols” are fatty. Not like rubbing alcohol.
