Absolutely perfect for a Ryzen 5 5500
I picked this cooler up as an upgrade from the stock fan that comes with most AMD CPUs. This cooler might be a bit overkill for my Ryzen 5 5500, but I do not have any complaints on that considering it’s extremely affordable and often sells for under $40. This cooler managed to keep my temps below 55 degrees Celsius with both a full thread cinebench test, and Steel Nomad on 3D mark running at the same time. 100% usage at max speed for 10min straight and it never even touched 56 degrees Celsius. To me that is insane! Granted my TDP is only 65w, but 55 degrees compared to 80 degrees is absolutely huge! It looks nice, it’s quiet, and it’s extremely effective for my little CPU. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone that’s looking for a budget cooler with some serious cooling power.

Great air cooler if you can find a sale, ok for normal price
Installed on AM4 Ryzen 7 5700x using MX6 paste, however, I changed fans out with two Silent Wings 4 120mm PWM High Speed 2500 RPM Premium, because I did read about possible supplied fan noise at higher RPM. I am not playing the latest game titles and have not calibrated the system yet, but by default CPU temps are in the 28C up to 52C on game usage. Perhaps I can get better temps calibrating fan operation. Installation on AM4 board was easy and straight forward. My mother board is a full ATX ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming AMD AM4 Zen 3 and all memory slots filled, which lead me to adjust the intake fan side a little higher to accommodate the G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series DDR4 in the A1 slot. Do not think this hindered cooling capability as the adjustment was minor. Be cognizant of size, I did check demission's of the cooler but have full ATX mid towers, so no problem with height on my system. Overall I recommend this product, although you may find several coolers that work as well at the $45. However, if you can snag it at $36 or below, its a stellar choice. Noting that I never tried the supplied fans that this came with. If you try them and they work well for you, then great deal. My primary objective was to cool the CPU and stay quiet as much a possible.

Great Cooler
Chose this cooler since I liked how it looked compared to other coolers and wasn't too big to fit in my case with my other components especially ram(teamgroup t-force delta) and was planning to pair it with a ryzen 5 7600x. It has performed really well my CPU never goes past 80c under full load, it can get a bit loud but for gaming is mostly super silent. With the push pull configuration it provides amazing airflow to cool my cpu. Would highly recommend it.

It worked for me
Replaced a Ryzen 3 3600 stock cooler that was being used on a Ryzen 7 5700x . Pros Price was great Took my temps from 80c to 55c under load. Fans seem solid Came with a y splitter Cons Its pretty big. Make sure you can clear memory Can clips are a little flimsy imo compared to the actual fans. Air gaps on the heat sink. Needs some filler to prevent un even cooling. The shipping of my delivery could have been handled better. The box was banged up bad corners were smashed down and had tears on the box. Thankfully nothing was broken

Took a chance and it fit! Cools great!
Had a low-profile cooler from another brand, witch heated up too fast under stress testing my i514600KS (not overclocked) I love my case and do not want to get a new one, so I took a chance on this cooler, I measured my space at 5.9 inched max height, and this beauty just fit! Dual 120 mm fans vs one on my old cooler, also, this has heat-pipes going up BOTH sides, not just one. Perfect! Stress testing can hold max power for a LONG time. Gaming is less stressful than the stress test, so this is perfect for me, and at only $33 and came with thermal paste and a great, easy to assemble mounting system. ID Cooling is a WINNER! The look is pure quality too. Very happy.

Good cooler for a 10th Gen I7. Heavy but works well.
This cooler is heavy but works well for my I7 -10700. I was using the stock cooler for year and recently my system was getting to 90c+ and crashing because the plastic pins of the stock cooler no longer could be tightened enough. When I opened the retail box, I thought the cooler might be too big to close the case panel, and too heavy to mount horizontally in a tower. Since I liked the build quality and don't care about looks of computers, I was thinking to add two wires from the top of the cooler, to the top of the case for extra weight support. The case shut, barely, and the mount is solid without any other support. Just tighten all screws well. I added a bit of thread locker to all screws since the fans will vibrate by design and this cooler is on the heavy side. I used both fans, but for my purposes it probably would have worked with one, and maybe also without out any fans at all. I'll find out when/if they go out. My temps in normal use run 30-60. I have stress tested to 90c or so without a crash. Really great cooler for $35 on lightning deal.

The CPU cooler is amazing.
I'm using this in my ITX motherboard case. This actually fits in my fractal node case and cools my Amd 7800x3D processor for my media center PC. I really like the fact that there's no lighting on this and the mounting was super easy. Also the price can't be beat.

My Intel i5 CPU was running 60->100'c in a warm west facing room. It's now operating at 45 (Office) - 74'c (No Mans Sky) depending on the task. The installation instructions were slightly intimidating for a Gen X'er, but ID Cooler have installation guides on their YouTube channel. Overall: Value for money (Vastly Cheaper then a new CPU). Easy to install. Quieter then my old cooler. It's coping with the CPU & UK summer heat nicely.

Good cpu cooler, keeps my 5700x nice and cool even under load so performance is not comprised. Very easy to install, has installation videos on YouTube too.

To start this review my PC is old. It’s an 1155 socket using a 3770k. I wanted a cooler that would take the stress of an overclock and didn’t wanna spend a fortune on something this old. The Cooler is well packaged and does feel decent quality in the hand. It comes with all the fixings you need to fit it to practically any CPU. Followed the instructions during the set up which was very easy. No problems at all getting it fitted to my Z77-GD55 mobo. I didn’t use the supplied thermal paste so can’t comment on that. Only real negative is I can hear a slight high pitched whine coming from it but nothing too annoying. The tasty bit of this review is what did I manage to squeeze out of my old i7 3770k? The answer is 4.6Ghz with a voltage setting of 1.4 and my temps during a stress test maxed at 97 degrees on core 2. This is acceptable for the CPU I’m using maybe just a touch over what I’d like. I’ve been able to get quite a few extra fps out of the games I play, mainly single player stuff. Something you’ll notice about air coolers is they tend to let the temps shoot up before really doing something about it. As opposed to liquid coolers which I hear tend to be on top of it all of the time. Still a great buy and I’ll probably move towards liquid cooling when I want a serious upgrade. Worth the money and easy to install.
