Good value, Fun time
I didn't really get any cards I wanted from series 3 in my 2+3+4 variety bundle, so I went against my better judgement to spend more money and bought another series 3. Thankfully, this was priced very attractively, less than the full retail price of $6. This time, I did get some cards I wanted. But even if I didn't, it's all based on luck, and I can easily trade them in FaceBook trading groups. It was quite a fun experience trading and selling cards I didn't want. I met so many nice people as the Animal Crossing community is just lovely! We also look out for each other with scammers. But in short, recommend buying these cards for the AC lover. It's so much fun perfecting your town with your villager dreamies! Do know that if you don't have the new 3DS, you'll need an NFC reader/writer. I bought Amiibo cards without realizing this, so I had to buy a used one from ebay for almost $30. Unfortunately, I missed the timing when these used to $20, but they did originally sell for $60 too apparently. Very confusing. Anyway, now I'm happy having scanned the characters I wanted. The cards are so nice too!

Fun and Relaxing!
A lot of people have mixed feelings about this game. It has that Animal Crossing charm, they just took a different approach with it. It may be nothing like New Leaf, but wouldn't it be kind of dumb to make it a copy? Sure, it isn't for everyone, but for someone who really likes home design and designing in general, it makes for a relaxing and lovely game. It makes me excited to see what new villagers could be in town. I've gotten so many villagers asking me to build homes for them that I've desperately wanted in my town in New Leaf. It has a fulfilling kind of feel to it, and for people who say it doesn't go by the real-time clock, that may be true, but you can still walk around town at night and talk to everyone. There's plenty of facilities to build, and after you build the second school expansion, you can remodel them (which I was super relieved about, since I'd missed a few things after finishing one.) You can remodel villager's homes as well. You can visit them during the day or night as well, which is super pretty at night if you have lamps outside. Don't be discouraged if you don't have much to work with at first, because every villager's home you work on gives you new items. I think this game opens up many creative opportunities, and you can get tips from other people by looking at their villager's homes and facilities! I hope you will check it out, it's a very sweet game and I think it deserves the Animal Crossing title!

6 cards to use in a variety of games
You get 6 cards per pack. 5 standard villagers and 1 special villager (these are the ones on the front of the packaging and these cards are shiny). As of now these cards are mainly used in two games: Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival on Wii U, where you can use the character on the card to participate in various mini games. And Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer on 3DS, where you can design an home for the villager on the card. Very few cards also have a use in Super Mario Maker on Wii U as well that can unlock the amiibo costume of the corresponding character, rule of thumb for this is if the villager has an amiibo figure, the card will work in Super Mario Maker. Every other game to my knowledge that does support the cards, uses them in a generic way that doesn't make a difference depending on the card you use, such as giving random customization bonuses in Pokken Tournament, or extra lives in Captain Toad. Overall you are paying $1 per card if you buy at MSRP and I think that's a pretty good value if you can use them in the games you enjoy playing. And they also have collection appeal as well.

description is misleading
Not 6 packs, only 6 cards.

They got here on time, what else can I say?
They got here early actually. It's kind of hard to review this since they're literally different each time. These can be used in Animal Crossing New Leaf with the magic lamp to summon a character and either have them move to your town or give you an item. If the character isn't a villager (i.e. Isabelle or KK Slider) then they can give you a self portrait or another item that is relate to their character. The cards can also be used with the welcome amiibo update games if you manage to get the Wii U or the 3DS as in-game items through the fortune cookie system. They can be summoned to assist you in the mini games and their stats are placed on the card for easy use. I believe these cards are also compatible with Happy Home Designer as well as Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival but I have yet to play these games and don't know much about their use there.

The series 3 Animal Crossing Amiibo cards are really nice. The artwork of each villager is beautiful. When you scan a card in to Happy Home Designer the villager looks just like their card. It is like the card comes to life. I really enjoy using them with HHD. They are easy to scan. After you design a home for a villager then you can save your design back to the card. It is also nice to take that home design and put the villager and their home into the Amiibo Festival game board. The cards are functional in a number of games and are great for collecting. They are made from a heavy card stock, but you could accidentally bend them. I place mine in the Amiibo card folio to protect them from damage. They are really fun and if you like Animal Crossing then they will add to your gaming experience.
